I am also thinking about the lesson for ice skating in Festival Walk. I heard that your kid was learning summer course. How did your kid learn?
My kid took 5-day ice skating lesson in TW but she just attended 3 days. She was sick on the first lesson and today is the last lesson but she did not show her interest to go.
She was grouped with other kids with the age around 7-10 years old so she is the smallest in the group. Actually she should group with others under the same age but I requested the school to reschedule the class due to some schedule crashed and there is no more class for me to choose...
I will consider ice skating after she start to school. I need to understand her living habit after she's in the PM class before I arrange the activities for her. If you are still looking for a partner by that time, maybe we can discuss it later.
By the way, do you know the school fee for the private class and the semi-private class?

Hi mmak,
Thanks for asking for me lei. I indeed prefer Tue or Thur morning cos' Keith is a late sleeper especially on weekends. It would be too hard for him to wake up on Mon morning.
There were 6 sessions in Keith's summer class. There were 8 kids in the group who were mostly of his age +/- 1 year old. Keith liked ice-skating right away after the first session. After the 6 sessions, Keith could already walk forward and backward for about 6 metres, know the technique in falling down and getting up again independently, and slide a little.
The price for a private class on weekdays is $800 per 5 sessions, semi-private is $650 (weekends prices are $900 and $725 respectively).
Pls let me know again when you have a better idea on your kid's daily routine and interests in ice-skating.
