I've just helped my daughter to prepare books and stationary for tomorrow lessons. Oh, god! The schoolbag is too heavy..... I'm afraid how she can take her backpack ,as my liitle princess is not tall enough and she is very thin.

My daughter requests me to give her pocket money for buying drinks in school. Do you have this request by yours?

Hi, I'm new to this thread.  呀囡話姨姨會拿個箱出黎賣小食嘛 (有旺旺 ).  不過我地暫時都無唸住比佢買, 因recess 已經好短.

On the registration day, I saw the tuck shop (situated at the corridor between St Joseph's Hall (i.e. where we stayed on 1 Sept) and Our Lady's Hall) is still there but don't know if it is still a tuck shop or just serves the secondary section.

I have already told my girl that no pocket money will be given to her cos she is still small.

I remembered we did always sit on the floor, on the playground when I studied in GHS but I didn't remember that my Mom had any complaint over the dirty dress (she was serious in it if my school uniform was not clean and tidy).

My girl said she once sat on the staircases during recess.

My girl told me that she sat on the floor of the hall during recess, because there isn't enough seat and some older girls are also sitting on the floor.  Oh... just can't imagine how 'black' her dress will be soon... I already warned her not to do so anymore... Hope she listens.

Girls are required to bring "筆記簿", apart from raincoat, stationery etc, to school.  What kind of "筆記簿" they should bring and for what purpose?

My girl's class teacher (1E) said just a small note book (about 5"x7") is fine.  My daughter drew a picture on it yesterday (she said the teacher asked them to draw anything they like on it).

Hi all,

My girl is in 1D.  Hope to keep in close contact with you all.

I also help her to pack her school bag.
It is really too heavy as there are too many books.  
She also needs to bring other things, such as notebook,
colour pencils, snack box, water .....
It would be very difficult for her to carry the school bag upstairs to the classroom.

Dear all,

On Orientation day, the class teacher told us that durig recess, a 'sum sum' will take out a 'paper box' with simple snacks for students to buy.  She added that only very limited choices are available.  Anyway I will not give money to my daugther because 1) she is too small and 2) the recess is too short.  Instead I will pack some snack for her.  Don't want her to get too hurry during that 10 min.  She also needs to go to toilet dueing recesses.  I am very worried whether she can cope with this new life, which is quite harsh for her comparing with those old days in the kindergarten!

返了兩日學, 昨天亞囡話她的snack比朋友仔食晒 , 所以放學時好hungry ; 校裙呢前面肚臍位置有二劃鉛筆痕 , 背後又有五-六劃 , 兩條孖辮又散晒  , 問她點解會咁 ? 她說排隊時同學仔在寫野, 不過唔知點解會劃到佢   , 我同亞囡講唔好比同學仔的筆插到.

到執書包, 嘩好重喎, 人仔細細點背上身 .

各位媽咪, 我有2個疑問, 唔知有無人知 ?
1.  帶書使唔使執埋作業呢 ? 例如GS/CHI.... 會否帶workbook 呢 ?
2.  昨天派的 Clear folder 使唔使每天帶返學嫁 ?

Dear Pullip,

Since other subjects (eg. GS, Music, Putonghua...)  were not written on my girl's student book, I also put '1A' or '1上' of both textbook and workbook of each of these subjects in her school bag. In case the teachers ask for it. Then, tell my girl to let me know if these are the correct books to bring school.

請問是否按TIME TABLE拾書包,抑或按老師在手冊上寫上明天要蔕的書?

時間表上沒有寫明幾時帶數學,幾時帶Eng. Maths. ,我今日俾個女帶曬兩本,書包好重。唔知有冇人知幾時帶Eng. Maths.???

Me too, I put both Eng.Maths  & Chi Maths in her school
bag.  It's really too heavy for our little girl ...

I don't think so. According to the time table, PE is on Mon & Fri.

My girl only wrote to bring Magic 1A (TX & WB), Chinese Math (3 of them) and Phonic 1. Nothing for other subjects, so I just put all the '1A' textbook and workbook of each subject in her school bag...  Yes, it is heavy... Just hope she will tell me if I did the right thing or not.....
