hi Dommom,
NDF+ is a new thing that Dr U recommended for my son to detox.  I look into its ingredients and it looks more like herbal medicine.

may I ask how long your son has been using NDF+? My son just started a week ago and we just moved from 1 drop per day to 2 drops (once) per day as Dr U advised us to move up the dosage slowly.  have you noticed any changes after taking NDF+?

請問知唔知邊度有得買GF/CF/SOY FREE的CREAM? 我最近買咗部雪糕機自已做雪糕, 做果汁味SORBET就幾成功 (我自己同菲傭都覺得好味) 只可惜小朋友唔仲意, 試都唔試..
隨機附送的雪糕RECEPE, 要用CREAM!? 都唔知可以用MUD嘢去代替.

There are some coconut milk which are GFCF, you may buy those in Little Giant.  But you have to check if your kid is allergic to coconut first. For cream, you may also check with them.

this is sth from the book A Read Boy by chritina adams. another recovery story. its a simple intervention incorportated in her son's programme. her son was on the high functioning side of the spectrum. the theory is called cornerstone, come up by Dr Kliman who is a harvard trained clinician.  it involves two adults(parents, therapists) talking infront of the ASD kid about things he did, starting from simple factual recalls, then gradually including more concepts like time, sequencing, appropriateness and cause/effect etc as the kids functioning improves. the kid should be encouraged to be engaged in the conversation as well. by doing this, its said to help the kid develope theory of mind ie the awareness that other people dont necessarily know things he knows. in the story, they conciously did this around 5min x a few times a day with the boy. we must have done similar things in our everyday routine but knowing that it actually helps our children might help us make a more concious effort to do it more often.

ultramom: thanks for the diet suggestion. my son has been on it since april and now is on SCD+soy free. i knew it even before the diet that milk, bread and potato make his gut problem worse. dr trodd said its more likely because of the yeast and lead overload. but i am still wary about dyflucan and chelation.

Trodd also starts suggesting low oxalate diet(LOD). one mum said it helps her son. her son is trodds first LOD patient.  

Kawai and Domom: i havent got to read the book about wiser club or known anyone who has tried the service. a mum read the book and was first impressed but then also feels it could just be too good to be true. but then i am also inclined to give some credibility to whats claimed in the book for the very fact that two well respected intellects (former hku med school head and Tao Kit) write the book's forward. just another big chunk of money though. aiii!

the study seems still ongoing. i might give it a try. i have tried accupuncture on myself recently to get a feel. it did sting quite a bit but i wont be feeling too anxious now if to let my boy have a go. the pain is tolerable. just looks a bit scary.

Welcome! Though your message is addressed to Kawai, I would also like to share with you my experience.

I would suggest you to spend some time to read our old messages.  They are our experiences.  I have printed some of them and keep in my file.  Honestly speaking, biomedical treatment is some sort of trial and error.  Every children is different so they will have different response to different supplement.  

The MMR vaccines are what the DAN doctors (doctors using biomedical treatment) believe to be harmful.

"Children with straving brains" written by Jaquelyn McCandless is a must read.  You can buy one in   Little Giant or Amazon.com

各位,
請問有冇人試過用Saccharomyces Boulardii? 我個仔呢排又多咗"遊魂",少咗望人, 又多咗stim (finger flapping), 醫生又話yeast, 又俾咗樽diflucan, 不過因為我個仔食咗5, 6次, 每次都唔覺有好大分別/幫助, 所以唔想俾佢食.
我去買咗一樽Saccharomyces Boulardii, 俾佢食咗5日, 又唔見有好大分別, 又唔係差咗(如果差咗都可以話係die-off), 又唔見好咗, 反而便便就3日都冇, 所以食咗5日就停咗, 之後第二日就即刻有番"便便".
所以想問吓有冇家長試過呢隻probiotics, 想知效果如何, 我又應唔應該俾佢食多幾日試吓呢?

I usually will bring extra GF/CF biscuits and snacks + juice if we go for a few days' holiday.  At the same time, extra AFP enzymes for each meal are necessary.

i also bought SB hoping to help my son's constipation as its said to be a more potent antifungal than dyflucan and its found in lychee skin ie natural. i only found out later from kirmann's website that one of its side effect is constipation.

i dont have any experience but perhaps you could also check with dino?  he mentioned this SB to me before.
