If public transportation is so easy, why we need to pay so much for transportation to and from school to host family for exeat days and mid-term breaks?  30min transport each journey x round trip x share car = GBP60!

請教已經攞咗簽證既媽媽，去簽證中心要搞簽證幾耐？

You make an appointment first.  The process time depends on whether it's high season. 2 weeks something.  If you plan travel, better do it earlier.


我上網睇左好耐，有冇代理幫手，

It's very straight forward and simple.  But if you are not sure, ask an agent to help.


所以唔知要帶乜上visa centre，睇番以前啲舊帖，有一樣嘢嘅叫自我評估表格，

It's a downloaded form.  It should be two forms altogether.  

請問其實係乜嚟㗎？有冇媽媽可以比一個文件清單我參考一下，要帶啲乜去簽證中心？

Your appointment  letter
Student's identity stuff: HKID card, birth certificate, photo, medical report.
Parents' stuff: parents' letter (don't worry on the wordings, they will give you sample to copy if it's not sufficient), 2 sets of forms.
School stuff: school CAS letter.
following the instructions from the website, especially copy.

Actually financial support is not necessary for HK residents.

Since my son comes back Hk 4 times a year.  The longest days in UK not longer than 3 months, I bought family travel insurance, about 2k a year.

可以download呢個apps, 有晒火車時間表

好方便, 你可以預先買定火車票, 比係火車站買平, 如果有足夠時間 (建議一個月前), 火車票重可以寄去你屋企.

小朋友在英國讀書,除火車,地鐵,巴士外,還要知什麼交通工具?有app?

其實都係呀！自己搭一定平過host family 去接送您！但好似阿仔學校，無公車去town,只有的士，一程都要15磅，仲未計巴士去host 到，host 都係收我20磅一程，差不多，唔洗走來走去，一程攪掂！

從 London 搭火車去任何地方都方便，上 http://www.nationalrail.co.uk 就可睇晒所有火車時間表同訂票，怕寄失，只要帶埋你用嚟訂票嘅 credit card 到時去攞票就得，如果在 London 玩，搭地鐵最方便 http://www.tfl.gov.uk/modes/tube/ 可以check 下你住嘅地方邊個站近，如果成日搭地鐵記住買遊客 travel card，抵好多

我囡今年九月讀Y7，但CAS只寫三年

所以三年後要再申請過!!

唔好意思丫...我想問下你地有冇去過Legoland, Windsor?如果由倫敦去方唔方便呢??

我地定左7月15至8月5去英 ...

倫敦去Legoland唔難，記得london transport個網頁有個planner的工具，打入起點同終點，就有哂行程表同轉車地點，及所須時間，細路好值得去。

另外訂火車票我較建議係車站攞票，但一定要有原本訂票張卡，及等齊票先好走，保險起見，最好把訂票完成時的畫面印pdf檔，再印一張紙旁身。

另最近倫敦有一app可以call車，是的士的競爭對手，結果引起好多不滿：
