You are so thoughtful to make some warm food for the party tomorrow!  I am not a good cook and do not have any ideas for cooking, that's why I have always asked Keith to bring some ready-made snack jar.  Perhaps I could cook some chicken wings for the party in April.  That should not be too hard to make ... just chucking everything in the oven.  

BTW, the notice I have received does not mention a specific date for Keith to tell the story.  It only said that kids will be invited to tell a story from March until the end of the term; and we will be advised a specific date later.

Keith told me that they visited N Orange class yesterday, pretending to be Chinese New Year Visit ("Bai Nin").  They were also taught a Putonghua song called "I Love My Little Animals".  The lyrics are those previsouly mentioned by other mums.

That's why I plan to bring my kid to the school tomorrow.  If cake is not preferrable, I am considering chicken wings or sandwishes.

Your descrition is so funny.  I can imagine how 論盡 you and your son had.

Today I brought my daugther to the school.  Unfortunately I was late.  I was thinking it took a shorter time to the school by taxi.  But there was a traffic... So I could not take the photos in the school.  As I know, they were having a "show" in the school.  Not much details can I know because I left school as soon as I saw the class teacher.

Finally I bought a cake to the school.  Thsi is my daugther's decision.  Today I saw TONS of cakes (7-8 boxes) in the class already.  I am wondering if the children can consume them all.  I think most of the children in my daugther's class were born in Jan or Feb.

可能有些小朋友唔係1-2月生日而家長都帶蛋糕, 好似我在第一次生日會時都有帶蛋糕, 我個仔就八月先生日. 不過個次我又見好多野食, 我都懷疑d小朋友食唔食得晒, 所以叫工人收返個盒時睇下佢地食唔食得晒, 工人話可能佢地的教職員都食埋一份, 所以食晒, 因為以佢見全部都清晒

I hope they won't waste the food but it's hard to say.  You know, am class + pm class = many many classes...  When I have a chance, I want to suggest the school e.g. issue a 便條叫家長寫下會提供的食物,若有duplicate, 再discuss.

我尋日都有去到學校,不過放低左D野(我買左朱古力餅),都未有時間跟Miss Law講多幾句,佢地已經開始.今次蒑蒑終於無喊住唔比我走啦!我一路係地鐵都已經同佢講,我放低佢我要走架.唔可以扭計,party開始佢仲對住我講bye-bye!媽咪你走啦.

不過我又無見到有蛋糕喎,我有見到好多小食.同學仔著住中國衫,好得意!

我個女大年初一起床見到個全盒立刻打開, 好開心大叫"好多嘢食呀!", 佢想即刻食, 被我阻止, 因為未刷牙, 我覺得要發明一個有鎖的全盒, 因為Charlotte一有機會就去偷食!
