Nice to meet you too     Yan Yu is so smart..... I burst into tears when HH first call me mama on my birthday..... HH also make progress in talking after going to school, but he still can't prounce well most of the time and we have to guess what he's talking about

Kindly share how's the kids doing and what they've learnt in school..... I always ask HH what he did at school but he can't speak out.... It will be great if we can know what they've done at school and play the same with them at home

First of all, I would like to share my joyful to all of you which happened on last Sat..  When I help Yan Yu to take a shower, she sing?/say? a Cantonese song suddenly.  The content is " 啤啤熊,啤啤熊......咪咪笑,咪咪笑,攬住瞓教...... ".  (I translate in English version for MayAnne as " Teddy bear, Teddy bear......smiling,smiling,hold it to sleep......) You know what, I almost drop my tears (唔係誇張), its so shocking to me because Yan Yu is not strong enough to express in verbal, but at that time, you can listen her speaking are very clearly.  So yesterday, I asked Ms. Tam whether teached a song named " 啤啤熊 " while she come out for collect student cards, she answered yes and also say the whole song words are " 啤啤熊,啤啤熊,軟軟棉棉面紅紅,咪咪笑,咪咪笑,攬住瞓教樂融融 " (That meansTeddy bear, Teddy bear, so softly and the face in red color, smiling, smiling, it so happy to hold it to sleep.)

P.S. : I will attend Dec. 16 Christmas Party.  Actually, it's quite expensive if compare with normal lunch buffer.  But in my point of view, I will try to attend with my girl all the school activities if I can afford and have time.

May I join your conversation?  I am Ga Ga mummy (the pregnant mother you met outside HKPS after school.  I have also attended Wai Wai's birthday party).  
My daughter Ga Ga makes more verbal expressions at home after going to school.  But she is still very very shy in talking to strangers or even non-strangers, e.g. teachers. She refused to greet the teacher or uncle, aunties by just saying "Ms Tam", "Ms Jemma", "Ms Shum", "uncle", "aunties" or "Bye Bye".....  She just closed her mouth tightly without giving any response in front of them.  Do your children have similar problems? How to improve the situation?

Welcome to join us

I guess it's quite common, especially if that's the one not familar to the child.... HH is not able to greet uncle or aunties verbally, but I'll usually tell him that uncle or aunties are saying hi to you and we should greet them......I asked HH to at least give eye contact or smile or wave to them.  I'll praise him if he can do that .... GaGa is a smart and friendly girl and I'm sure that she'll soon improve

Yan Yu got flu today so can't go to school.  I hope can back to normal tomorrow because she really really love go to school now.

Hi all,

Let's share a funny thing to all of you.  I have a torch which in black color and long, thin shape like microphone.  Yesterday Yan Yu found the torch and played for a while.  Then she held it near her mouth like held a microphone and said "你好", then she said "午安" in Mandarin .  I think she must learn from someone in school. 勁搞笑!

In fact, I cannot recognise you.  If you don't mind, please feel free to say hi to me next time.

My expected due date is 1.1.2007.  Ga Ga knows that a little brother is living inside my tummy and she always kisses my tummy.  I also tell her that she will become an elder sister soon and will have the responsibility to take care of the younger brother.  So far, she appears to be receptive to this new role.  But many experienced mother told me that after the younger baby come out, the elder sister/brother will become jealous and ask for equal share of what the baby have.  I have prepared for her challenge.  But I hope this transitional period will be short.  

Btw, what's the name of your daughter?

yee, probably your little boy will be the first baby in 2007     My friend who delievered her 2nd baby this year told me that she intentionally spent more time with her elder baby.... also, she bought a present to her elder baby on behalf of the small baby.... gaga is a good girl, she loves mummy and brother
