Kate就是那天穿黑色裙的那個小朋友﹐ 你的女兒也是那場嗎 如沒記錯Kate應是當天年紀最小的﹐ 所以好像還不是很懂得緊張和怕醜

今次是我第一次看校際﹐為了了解多點﹐ 我在Kate比賽之前看過兩場。 比較起那兩場 ﹐我們的那一場水平算比較高的了﹐ 但可能我平時對Kate的要求高﹐ 所以整體校際的水平比我想象中底。 但今此給她參加令她得益不少 因這是她第一次在那麼多人面前彈琴 又有機會欣賞別人的琴藝 她明白到自己如想成為優勝者﹐ 還要付出更多的努力﹗

因單簧管沒有大細分,所以小囡初初握管時都很容易"累"的.慢慢便習慣.你小朋友那天比賽成績如何? 有多大? 那天都有很多小小朋友參賽,表現都很不錯.我囡囡參加了兩年獨奏,去年拿了75分,老師忘了給她”正譜”扣了一點分數,表現當然也不及今年好.

她在二年級開始學習,現就讀五年級.前年考了四級ABRSM(13x分),去年十月考了五級(11x分).每星期五學習單簧管一小時,星期六參加學校的樂團練習兩小時.她非常喜歡音樂,也有學習鋼琴.但讀書成績便遠遠不及細囡,很難十全十美的.

我細囡參加小提琴三級比賽,拿了78分,她去年才考獲ABRSM二級,所以和其他同場比賽拿了5,6,7級的同學(同校所以知道)相比便相差甚遠,有這樣的成績很不錯了.

對呀! 看到不少中學生參賽,其實他們的壓力更大要和小朋友比賽.除了那些根據年齡的唱歌項目,其他都是中小學生一起比賽,我覺得好像不是太好,你同意嗎??

妹妹同學參加古箏比賽得了冠軍,她媽媽說在外面練習時看到中學姐姐演奏得非常專業,但到比賽時失準.

我女女作日係小學[長笛高級組](只得一場)中取得第二名. 我女女今年只得八歲 (讀三年級), 但係就要同高班di學生(四至六年級)比賽. 你地可以睇下

其實我當場睇到女女的表演十分好, 評判亦讚佢非常有音樂感及表演力強. 所以, 女女羅第二名我都有點失望 , 因為第一名個位學生 (約五,六年級)表演時平平無其, 而且仲吹錯少少添. 唉 ! 比賽就係o甘主觀o家 !

Thank you for your sharing! My son is a P2 student. He starts learning clarinet since P1. He got 79 marks on the music festival examination. He is going to take the ABRSM G3 in the this year.
He also learn piano and took the G3 music festival examination Romance, I think your daughter took the same examination.
How much you spent on the lesson on clarinet for one hour per week? Do you think that it is differcult to learn 2 music instruments exp. for a P5 students? I find it is busy to let my son learns 2 insturments.

拿到第二都飲得杯落.那明年可以有進步空間!我們(家長和樂器老師)都大多認為如有兩個評判會比較合適. 咦!我囡囡都在TVB “文化新領域”表演過單簧管三重奏.

讀五年級學兩種樂器,時間分配是比較緊.但囡囡非常喜歡音樂,每天都會”主動”練習半小時左右(<-如不是太忙,她可以練/玩一小時),我想如小朋友是自己喜愛的便應可handle到的.有同事話你囡囡學琴的進度好像比較慢,五年級才考了2級還未考5級,但我從來沒有”迫”樂器老師要考第幾級,我是門外漢,但我和先生都非常尊重他們的專業意見,小朋友去到那個位便那個位,學音樂不像讀書,是要慢慢”浸”領會回來. 聽聞加拿大考那級琴便要考那級的樂理,是很好制度.我希望這個興趣可以跟隨小女長大. 看過finger_party那位老師的發表,很同意他對小朋友學音樂的看法.現在小朋友已經要練到個個都好似十項全能,讀書的壓力已經不少,無謂為小朋友再加多一項

My daughter didn't participate as her teacher wasn't particularly enthusiastic about the Music Festival nowadays.  She has her way of thinking and I respect her opinion.  
Other than this, she's doing fine. She had her performance in Feb. She is practising her shifting and bowing exercise and is now working hard on her new piece which she will be playing in her term exam in May.
What about your wonderful daughter? I'm sure she must be doing great!  Don't forget to let me know ahead of time whenever she has a performance.

Which brand of piano have you chosen and can you share the experience ?

My daughter is having a very enjoyable Music Festival this year.  It started off with a first prize for the school choir, and it is amazing for 60 students, the teacher and the head mistress to share the joy of winning together.  It's an occasion in p.1 that my daughter will always remember with her friends.  On the same night, she won the piano sonatina solo, making that a double happiness day.  The Festival also gives her a chance to do a couple of performances in school, meeting new friends for music sharing, and watching the competitions of some young eminent players.  Meanwhile, she is still working hard on the upcoming treble voice solo, G3 piano solo and the choir final.  There are still two more weeks to go.

The Music Festival, though just a small local competition, could be very rewarding in music sharing.

Congratulations to both you, your daughter, and every member of the choir team.  It is indeed a very rewarding experience for everyone who took part.
Even I find it enjoyable reading all the comments, experiences other parents shared under this thread, despite I haven't had the opportunity to be one of them. On the other hand, I feel extremely happy for your daughter's achievements. Of course, I cannot miss to compliment your efforts and support behind the scene .  Wish you & your daughter a smooth journey to victory in the upcoming voice & piano competitions!
As for the piano, it's a "leyel". I forgot the model as I don't have the info.with me at the moment.  I will look it up tonight after I got home and PM you the info. I think it's comparable to Schimmel because they're under the same group but different companies.  One is French make and the other is German make. I was deciding between the two but finally chose this one. You can also surf through their website.    
Though I haven't got enough experience to share, I believe it is a reasonably good choice and hope my daughter continues to enjoy every moment of her practice.  Thanks.

Kate剛剛滿5歲﹐又不算高﹐連站起來都不是很夠高。 為了能用腳踏﹐ 我特意買了一對有點根的鞋給她﹐希望能令她高一點﹐ 所以她整首歌都是站著彈的。 相信Romance只有一個版本﹐ 為了這首歌 她花了很多時間站著練﹐ 可在我們的那一場﹐ 我分別見到幾個小朋友 都比Kate高大很多﹐ 但都沒有用腳踏﹐ 我不知道他們有沒有因此而被扣分﹐只知道用腳踏對著首歌很重要﹐ 所以決定給她站著彈。

Congulation! I think it is difficult for a little child to play Romance. It is so good to hear that your daughter can manage it with the pedal and got 86 marks. Is your daughter use the soft pedal? By the way, May I ask you that when did your daughter start learning piano? Is she like practising piano by herself? I am just wondering when to let my daughter starts learning piano as she is nearly 4 years old but I afraid that she is too young to start learning piano
