Tuition fees charged by the local universities for international students are not cheap comparing to their counterparts in other countries.

HKU tuition fees for an international undergraduate student is HK$200K p.a., which is almost 5 times to the fees for local students.  For comparison, NUS tuition fees for an international undergraduate is SGD20K p.a. (roughly HKD120K) which is about 2 times to the fees for local students.

其实我唔明佢地嘈乜? 佢地都开多左好多U同位去收d Intl Students, 如果真係計唔掂條數咪加學費羅, 我就唔信佢地會蝕本, 正所謂, 殺頭生意有人做, 蝕本生意冇人做.

所以我角得, 計得掂条數咪go ahead囉, 返正依家公司restructure紧,最緊要条數, 米搞到大layoff, 咁大家都冇运行

我意思係, 不知不覺間, 香港好似多咗好多Non China 工作, e.g., 外賣,收買二手等, 唔知佢地係用乜visa入泥, 同係米埋類visa, 这十几年放鬆左, 以前好似唔角咁多.

陳sir, 想请教, 之前问过, 依象CEng係咪要Master先得, 因為英国大部份degree都係MEng了, 咁HKIE係米Charter都要Master先得呢? 咁美加澳d degree, 重係咪equivalent呢? (幫呀仔问定)

This is not a fair comparison.

These elite US or UK law firms will only hire those top graduates of prestigious law schools. For UK law schools, perhaps only G5, King's and Edinburgh can be considered as prestigious.

For HKU law students, I believe only the UQ students would get a chance to be admitted to these prestigious UK law schools. Then you need to achieve the UQ academic results to become a top graduate. I think it makes more sense to compare these top UK graduates to the top 1/16 of HKU graduates instead of the entire cohort.

Recently I read a news about the destinations of 2024 DBS Top IB scorers. Two of them chose to enroll the HKU - UCL Dual Degree Law Programme. With IB scores of 44 / 45, they can choose any of the top UK law schools if they want. The two years study in HKU should have somethings appealing to them.
