我大仔啱啱收到UCL conditional offer, 個DSE成績要求超乎想像嘅低！叧亦收到Cambridge 嘅interview, 可惜applied嗰間 college不設香港interview, 我地收到email 先知，策略失敗了！宜家要呀仔十二月頭飛去，呀仔宜家唸緊去5去，因為佢1st priority 系留港讀神科，5想請假同分心⋯⋯大家有冇意見呀！

咁阿仔中文AL成績可加入u application as hunanities subject 當balance 一下佢dscience subjects 嗎？

Although the offer rate is not promising, attending Cambridge interview at Cambridge itself is a once in a life time experience. Is not just the interview, is the whole process; living their hall, dine in their canteen, meeting thousand of potential smart candidate like your son from all over the world. Taking a few days off from school is not much a problem at all. He won't regret it.
Pure science (and a few others) is not UCL's strong area, that's why they give out low offer at this early stage. If want their name (UCL), that's fine. If your son care about quality, better be careful.

恭喜晒！好叻仔。個人意見，會去interview，因機會難得。當然，仔仔可作最後決定，父母只係俾意見及分析。

八卦  ，試吹水DSE的中文現要有3/4級成績 如大學英文科 ，另估英大學如同分，會考慮有其它科分有so,如中文/音樂/PE。。。。本地大學按金一萬可接受，本地大學算平，外國讀書一年學費要十幾萬 ，最怕難回港又要考牌

Agree that Cambridge interview is a once in a life time experience for the "privileged few"! Not everyone can enjoy! Therefore for sure if my son were offered the opportunity I would encourage him to go. The gain definitely would be higher than the "loss" of time for studying. In fact, a few days of revisions really make so much difference? He can make up the revision time by sacrificing other activities!

系呀，UCL 要求有中文，但剛收另一間U offer, 只要求3 科selectives 555，中文5 count
