This morning at 6am, I happened to have a walk around the peak as usual, and came across a lot of the students doing the race or working as facilitators.
West Island, South Island, FIS, KGV's ..... I met a lot of them. They all seemed very friendly, energetic and determined in running the race. They set up camps on the road side and the condition was tidy without even a tiny piece of rubbish being found at a place that it shouldn't belong to.
At 6AM, at dim light on the trail, two happy girls who worked as facilitators and should be tired after working some hours suddenly said in high volume "Hi good morning!" nicely and happily to me --- a stranger.
I just thought their manner was just too good... they just had that kind of pleasant etiquette that you could hardly find from a local student.
Kudos to all those who have participated in this meaningful event, especially to the two girls who said "Hi Good Morning" to me!
