讀唔讀得過就好個人決定，分享下我小朋友呢兩個多星期小一學校生活，課程我覺得除左好重視英中文外，其他既跟一般學校分別不大，但呢間學校特別之處係令到我個小朋友好鍾意返學，亦好開心，重話開心過K3

中文用廣東話教，呢樣模式學校相當堅持，佢地理念係語言只係學習文字知識既載體，係小朋友初小既吸收知識黃金期，母語教學可以加快文字知識吸收同思維纙輯發展，學校有普通話堂教小朋友基礎拼音，認字同溝通

我為小朋友報名前, 已經了解學校是否適合才交表
點解有家長又會得到offer才去問學校程度或擔心是否適合自己小朋友?
香港有好多直資或私校, 每間都有自己長處/短處
冇人會比你更了解你小朋友需要什麼

同意, 家長唔係應該先了解咗學校背景同程度, 覺得適合自己小朋友先去報的嗎? 得了 offer 才問是否適合, 咁嗰啲覺得學校適合小朋友但又得不到 offer 的家長, 睇到咁的提問, 會係咩感受呢?

其實想再問多D去confirm自己冇揀錯，因為小朋友是我們最疼愛的，怕行錯一步....更加不想冇心讀留了位先算的心態，做人父母有很大壓力...請大家多多包容！

人之常情，每個家長都想比最好小朋友，做父母確實大壓力，最認識小朋友就係父母，我地只好努力為佢地搵一間合適學校，出名既小學都会有1/3派去band 3，所以學校係無最好，只有最適合

你係咩信都冇, 定係冇 offer? 如果前者, 先問問學校寄晒未, 可能未寄到或寄失. 如果係後者, 再次入表, 今年小一已有成功例子係 in 第二次先收的. 不過亦有人話 in 咗三次都唔收.

我同你一樣心儀嶺小, 真心覺得適合小兒, 但都係未收到信.. 平常心啦.. 咁多人考, 好多野唔係我地控制之內, 我覺得不是你我的小朋友做得唔好, 只係人地小朋友表現更好, 更自信吧. , 希望大家都仲有機會能入到嶺小. 我地諗住等小兒再長大, 出年6月再來 ^^

我相信家教係最重要的.. 一同加油呀!!

其實有時失敗多了，就會接受，你覺得自己適合間學校無用，甘多人爭，學校一定選叻那個，最初對報直資私校有期望，慢慢覺得渺茫，間間都幾千人報，收幾十個，真係預左全軍覆沒，希望自行成功，就結束這種生活！

我完全極度認同你所講，間間都咁多人報，但收得一百幾十個位，而最大問題一樣野，就係頂尖及強果啲小朋友，可能同時間有好幾間收錄左佢地，但佢地大部分每間學校都照交留位費 hold 住個學位，可能到出年最後一刻六七月先放番唔要嘅位出黎，其他人先有機會攝到果啲漏出黎嘅學位，所以變左大部分家長都要被折磨到出年暑假先有學校 call 番佢讀

我係樓主，好傷心！

看到你的誠意, 真想鼓勵一下你啊! 請不要灰心, 咁多人申請, 學校走漏眼都唔出奇! 其實我知有D家長乜學校都報名, 當練習面試, 得到offer後就放位 / hold (非常不認同此行為!). 所以未收信的, 下星期可能也有機會收offer. 而且即使唔得, 也可以再申請, 為了適合的學校, 就再試一次吧! 加油!

這間學校不是只催谷成績, 品格也非常重視. 如目標是名氣大, band one 率高的家長, 請高抬貴手, 不要hold根本不會就讀的位, 讓適合的小孩與媽媽, 不用懷著憂心等到6月呢! 非誠勿擾

There's no chinese input software on the computer, so..

Congrats to the parents who got the offer!  If you prefer your kids to study in a caring environment (which is not a very common thing in HK at the present time, sadly speaking), enjoy the benefits of a well designed curriculum, esp. Eng and Chinese, and avail themselves of the opportunities to take part in a wide range of ECA, school teams and other competitions (again, we don't take it for granted, if you know what is happening in other traditional schools, you would know what I mean), unless you got the offer from other thru-train schools, this is the school you should consider.  Yes, it may not be a very famous school, but its good quality has started to be gradually recognized in the education field. This is what i heard and most importantly, this is what i experienced.

For those who have not yet received the offer, pls don't give up!  My suggestion is to keep trying in each coming round.  If you can't make it, transfer admission is still possible in P2 and afterwards.  This school is worth a try.

In terms of academic level, I reckon that it is getting better and better. I'm pleased with its focus on the language teaching and I'm reaonably confident that their performance in TSA and Secondary allocation will further improve.

I know that not too many parents are active here, so I just want to drop a few lines to share with everyone here my feelings about this school.
