想係到同大家分享下我個女嘅進度.

我一直覺得我個女有d問題, 但係我又唔知係物野問題, 但肯定唔係智力或整體發展有物事.  過去一年半, 我帶左佢去睇不下五六個心理學家, 治療師同教育學家, 但大家都冇物頭緒, 又或冇法對症下藥.  我諗唔到, 真正幫到我嘅專業人士就係我個女嘅老師!由舊年十一月起, 佢已同我講我個女係有d野, 之後迫住我去(再)做評估, 心理學家個報告, 佢睇左兩次, 仲highlight哂.但報告inconclusive, 我試過帶我個女去做therapy, 都冇物幫助, 老師唯有定期叫我去見家長, 過去兩個月, 我見左3次!  個幾月前, 佢同我講, 佢肯定我個女去ADD(專注力不足), 佢話以佢30年嘅教學經驗, 請我相信佢.

我對佢所講, 將信將疑, 因為之前見左咁多專業人士, 都冇物用.  但我都姑且一試, 我唔想用藥, 亦因我對自然療法比較有偏好, 最後係美國訂左隻為ADD/ADHD小朋友做嘅維他命配方比阿女試, 點知就bingo左!

我係到想多謝老師, 佢真係好緊張我個女, 成日的我見家長, 而且後期仲係日曆到記低阿女有邊日專心, 希望搵到個pattern, 提供多d資料比我.  佢真係一個好有耐性, 愛心同包容嘅老師.

新小學面試學生同請老師, 老師training, 我知都係由佢負責左唔少, 我相信有佢參與, ICA will be off with a good start, 因為佢有熱誠, 經驗同愛心.

Thx for your updates. Im a working mum, are there many ftm in this school ? Would the school prefers ftm ?

in my daughter's class, I think ftm and working mom about 50/50. School does not have preference.

eneresnat, there is a celebration for ICA? or is it for small world graduation? I don't know that there is a celebration on June 14 wor. My daughter still has to go to school on that day. Is it their fundraising event?

eneresnat I received an invitation to go to this cocktail on 14 June evening at the Helena May. They said it's for celebrating ICA and there'll be some exhibitions. Not sure if it's a fundraising event...... 發表於 12-6-8 14:27

oops, yes, a parent just told me about the cocktail. 我頭先同其中一位家長傾開, 因為佢地去接放學, 又係全職媽媽, 佢同學校好熟. 我越聽越心"育", 想比阿仔去返ica (我而家都未通知學校). 我個女個班, 有兩個小朋友有esf offer都turn down左, 留返係ica.

我相信ica唔會令大定失望, 如果唔係我唔洗到而家都仲掙扎緊比我個仔入IMS定ICA啦. 有機會大家見面可以詳談, 有d細節我唔想係到講.

我的一對 Twins 也將於9月入讀SWCK,
相信他們一定會喜歡學校!
另外, 我現在也開始留意 ICA,
雖然了解不多, 不過他們也跟SWCK一樣,
是有愛心, 有心辦學的團體,
