ML_Ngan, not too worry about your daughter doesn't walk steadily at this moment. My boys also didn't walk so well during 15 months, but all of the sudden one day you'll see them walking tip-toe without tripping over. You just never know. 7 Nov is still a long way to go, so by that time your daughter will be 18 months la, really, don't worry much ! She'll be just fine !!

Oh....u shouldn't be worry about your daughter isn't able to walk well. All doctors said it is normal for babies to pick up walking when they are about 18 months old. Besides, all babies are different. No need to compare and relax.

Have you started to teach your son such as colour, shape etc?

My daughter only points at some pictures from the book and say "ga or ba".

I let her to play cube stacking and teaches her to recognise different colours, but she is not interested.

haha....actually, my wife is full time looking after they baby so that she does most of the teaching. In my observation, my son doesn't learn much neither.

Hi Twinboys08, what do you think of 嶺南?  I am thinking about applying for it too but heard it's a so so school and not too hard to get in.  Your thoughts?  Have you heard from Victoria Playgroup?  Hope you'll hear from them soon!

As compared with other branches of Victoria, Causeway Bay is the most famous one.

Chiangsu-Chekiang is also very competitive because medium of teaching is putonghua.

ML_Ngan, don't worry too much.  When my twins were your age, they were also like your little one.  No concentration and not walking very steadily.  They still fall a lot when they are tired and they are now 19mos!  But you know, you'll be surprised how much they absorb without you seeing/ knowing.  The other day, I opened a story book and they proactively pointed out so many vocabularies on the picture.  I was SHOCKED!  So you see, babies learn differently from us and at different pace.

Hi twinsmummy, actually I don't really sure whether 嶺南is good, just to give it a try anyway if there's any interview. So let the boys have the interview experience ja. To me, those schools which don't have any specific applicate date, I would say they're always welcome for application and not so competitive as a result.

Still no news from Victoria PG, it's hopeless I guess...but will try out Bambini Republic this Sat ~

Sorry to hear about Victoria.  It is frustrating waiting isn't it.  Pls let me know how your kiddies enjoy the Bambini Republic.  Good point about LingNan for interview practice.  :)

"嶺南"係咪都好呀?  但係司徒拔道要搭校車, 唔放心?

"蘇浙"近幾年都好多人報, 同維多利亞都係好多人爭。  你知唔知如果比蘇浙收咗N1, 對報讀K1有無jetso, 可唔可以直上K1呢?

I heard some parents said that the syllabus is quite simple.  If you plan to apply for other famous kindergarten or famous primary schools in the future, it will be difficult to catch up.

Tutor Time Wow at Sulfork Road, Kowloon Tong.  She attends class every Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.
