Logos's curriculum is rather unique. It's a 11 yr curriculum and is closer to IB than traditional. Do the students have any problem in adapting to the local curriculum in the last 4 years?

I don't quite understand what you were trying to ask.
In the first 2 statements, you mentioned that the school's 11-year programme was unique. Then obviously the curriculum is different from the local one.  Why would there be adaptation difficulties for the students within its own curriculum? unless you meant something else or please specify otherwise.

No, the kids can either choose to take either the local exam or the IBD by the end of the 11-year programme.

for current secondary students, yes, they need to take the local exam because that was the original arrangement which our principal mentioned to the parents of the sceondary students.  For primary section, the school plans to apply for the IBD in 2008 (which I know we're in the process of doing so) just in time for the kids of the upper-primary section when they advance to their final year getting ready for the IBD. As far as expansion, our principal has decided to open 7 classes across each grade to facilitate administration and planning, etc. etc.

There is only 1 curriculum available for primary which, in time, w/b carried forward until the 11th yr. The current program is quite demanding which, according to our principal, is designed to fit both the local exam as well as the IBD.  That is why if parents choose Logos, it is advised that they let their kids study all the way through.

Logos English standard (FS1 to DS3) is one of the highest that I have ever seen.  IB requires continue assessments of the students.  Certain costs are required for the governing body to do this assessments.  In order to save cost, logos will only register on the Diploma programe (IB programe has 3 stages).  There will be another 6 years before the first batch of students taking the IB Diploma examinations.  It shouldn't be a hurry to register.

DS1

The new HK examination is more or less like the IB Diploma program.  Except, IB is designed at a higher standard than our new HK examination.

What I meant  is that the current 11 yr curriculum is supposed to be on IB basis. But now, since Logos failed to be "accredited" for IB, what impacts will be on the students? Do they continue the current curriculum but take the lock exam, or the curriculum has to be changed to fit in with the local exam?

IB Diploma program is a 2 years' program.  We don't have any students to study it until 4 years later.  It is not necessary to register now.  The current F1 to F4 students are taking HK local school curriculum and is nothing related to IB Diploma.

again, i don't understand why you kept saying that the school "failed to be accredited", which i had already clarified untrue.  in essence, those impacts that you had mentioned would not hv happened.

Let me say something more.  A school registered with the IB Organization means it fulfills certain mandatory requirements. Most of the schools in HK do if they want.  It is a matter of time and money.  

Regarding the examinations, some schools like DBS allows students to choose which exams to take at the end of the day. It is not an uncommon practise.
