My son got an offer 2007 K1

my son was accepted as PM class student because he is "small boy" as principle mentioned in the interview day.

When's your son born?  My son  was born on August, so he should also be a small boy.  The principal asked me if I preferred pm class, I told her that I will accepted but of course I preferred am one.

I have not much information about this school, could you pls share?  is it a good one?

I keep checking the Web Site today.  But still no results.

Maybe I should call them tomorrow.

I called 禮賢會 this morning coz' I still cannot access their web to check the result, really want to see it by myself.  The school said that there is something wrong with their server and probably cannot fix it soon.   so it is better to call them to check.  Just give them the interview time, the reference no.

my son was born in mid of November, so that the Principle said he is small boy, only will consider PM Class for him.

I think August is not quite small, is average, of course smaller than April or March, etc, but August is good month coz i was born in August...ahaha.....

Anyway, I think this school is a good school, kind of  traditional but adding new method to teach, the son of my supervisor is studying in this school and she told me all staff of school are nice and patient to teach.

and you know..new building is used in coming year...all things are new....

My daughter was born in May, but I called this morning and they said   my daughter was accepted as pm student.  I told them I would prefer am, and they told me to call next week to see if there any vacancy or not.  

My daughter is a big girl, but during the interview, the principal asked me if pm class, will I consider? and I answered yes.  I think that's why they put my daughter in pm.

haha, the disadv to born in Aug is:  that's just i think only - birthday during summer vocation (if study P1 or Form 1), less classmate will celebrate for you^_^  Cos i was born in Sept!

I am still considering 禮賢會 (am) or SPC (pm).  My friend told me that 禮賢會 is quite tense on the study, kids has to recognise 100 chinese characters in K1.  But SPC seems less tense.   What do you think?  Of course I like their new building which is very attractive for parents.

do you think 禮賢會or SPC is more reputatable and more happy for kids to study?

Don't worry, maybe there are some withdrawals from the am class.  so yr daughter may be transferred to am.

I've called the scholl and my boy is accetped in pm class only.

I think 禮賢會is quite a good k/g in western district, coz' i live in western district.  I like those k/g with a whole school / building instead of occupying 2-3 storeys in a residential / commercial building and it has a open playground which not many k/g have.

do you know most likely which primary school did the K3 派位?
and what kind of method they are using?

Hi aeiou_drm,

有媽咪話會派到聖彼得, 般含道官小, 又可以考到高主教, 聖保羅, 派位唔差.
教學方法方面, 禮賢會雖然用傳統教學, 但又加上主題活動教學, 例如佢地有一個topic 係上茶樓, 不單教到小朋友好多詞彙, 句子結構, 德育方面又可以教到小朋友講"唔該"......
另外, 佢有戶外的校舍係一個好大的吸引
除左校長唔係太好印象外, 其他老師都好後生及nice呀!!!
你地會唔會考慮同交留位費呀?
