  Is St Margaret a good school?  
My daughter has received the acceptance letter this Friday. All my family members were happy, as my daughter really loves this school. She told me that teachers were very nice during her interview and gave her many candies at all. I had also selected Maryknoll Fathers' (government school) for the 1st round ballot (I've got 20 score). As St Margaret is a subsidy school and I need to give up the chance for balloting the government school, therefore it is a very difficult time for me to choose.

Is St Margaret a good school? How many homework and the school activities in this school? Are there many tests, dictation and exams in this school? Is this a band 1, 2 or 3 primary school? How about the conduct of this school? I have heard it was a band 3 secondary school before moving to 西九.
Anyone can advise?

To Lengluima: Can you clarify please? you wrote this morning you received the acceptance letter but now you said you still waiting for the result???

Hi Stephaineshum!  Sorry that I made the confuse as my sister and I share the some e-mail.  For the 1st e-mail, my daughter really recieved the acceptance letter and I will go to pay for the registration fee.  For the 2nd one, it as my daughter's cousin that she has not received any letter until now.  My sister's daughter went to interview on 6 Oct. She is very nervous that her daughter will fail.

Have you got any children study in this school?

My daughter had an interview on 6 Oct.

There were 5 interviewers and two of them were foreigners.  My daughter toldme that she need to describe some pictures in English.

There was the parents' interview around 15 mins.
Only two questions - What's your daughter's talent and why do you choose this school

I also applied this school but not yet receive call for interview. I called the school and the staff told me that they will interview for each applicant and will be at the end of this month. Then I asked some applicants already accepted and required for registration and why. The staff told me that they will have a score for every application and if they passed the required score they will be accepted immediately. But she told me no worry there still quota for those not had the interview yet.
For all those applicants that cannot reach the standard but almost near their required score will be on waiting list and the others at very low marks of course will be failed.
Did you sister's daughter receive any letter yet due even waitlist or fail still have it.

She's still awaiting for the result and extremely worried about the result.

Why did your child go to the interview as you really know that you will loose the "Lucky Draw".

Ah!  May be your child have very high score for the "Lucky Draw".  Right?????

just finished the interview today. We arrived 3:45pm and left around 06:30......   
Kid's interview takes about 30-40 min. Heard from my son that 3 kids togather.....conducted by a foreigner (so all English)..but he asked my son to write his name in Chinese.........HAHA !
Parent interview is most time consuming although it took about 10-15 min. but waiting time over an hour. Parents have to fill in a questionair and interview is based on that.
