Hi katyfok,

My son is also 28 months old.  You mentioned that the therapist said your girl is around 2 years level.  Are you referring to her speech level?  May I know what kind of words / sentences your girl is talking? (e.g. 單字, 詞語, 短句, 問問題..etc.).  

My son did the assessment when he was 26 months old, on that time he still has no words.  But he started saying little words last month.

我的小朋友23個月，但評估得14個月，但能講40-50個單字，都排緊早期及i位，我現在幫他找私人言語治療，希望有幫助。

Yeah... her speech level is at 2 yr.
her cognitive and comprehension is quite close to her age.
Well, she's able to say many many single words ( all in Chinese), quite a lot 2 word or 3 word phrases , ,..... and some simple sentance  bascially starting with I WANT TO, such as " I want to eat xxx".... "mama hold DD" ...." want to kick papa"  
I don't think she's able to ask question though...

According to our therapist, she has trouble analyzing sound... that is, she doesn't know how to ' make' the sounds her heard. She could hear no problem!. but don't know how to replicate it.

about 6 months ago... she has " NO" word at all... I thought she 's making good progres but my therapist said her progress isn't satisfactory given she has normal IQ.  she 's a slow learner in terms of " making  sound" that's why it's hard for her to learn to speak ....

Anyway, I was not referred to "i" school... and now I'm so worry .....I may not be able to find her a kindergarten due to her situation.

我仔開始肯跟講少少字, 但最令我頭痛, 係佢既理解能力, 我覺得佢有好多指令唔明白!  有乜方法可以交流下?

我細孖有時都唔明我的指令架，仲要我屋企有個大孖成日爭住做，而且我發覺好多野唔教細孖係唔識架，但大孖就無師自通。

你試下誇張d講，再唔係捉住佢對手做，得唔得呀??

其實我個之前做評估,醫院話二歲有四十至五十個字是正常情況喎,佢話只得十四個月是整體,還是語言呀

佢係話語言表達及理解得14個月，認知20個月，當時我聽到個醫生講都好surprised，因為我找左好多資料話2歲識運用40-50字已可以。以前18個月時見姑娘時，我都有問要講幾多個字才合格，那個姑娘話3-4個單字己合格，當時阿仔都識10個單字了。anyway,我約左聽日去見私人的評估，看看結果又如何呢 ??

我覺得你做得好啱,好多所謂專家,講的未必一定是對
特別是政府那些,我個仔2歲去做評估,一口話無問題,
話會跟進,一d音迅都無,不斷追,就不斷拖,拖得家下三歲啦,
先話佢發展遲,所以如果自己有能力的話,出去再做一些評估或練訓係好的

我個仔三歲一個月,評詁語言理解遲1年,上個月終於排到早期訓練,智力正常,只是speech delay,在他未排到早期時,按排他上了青葱計劃的專注力小組,私人言語治療及朗研社的語言學習小組及提早讀N1,我發覺對他的語言發展有很大幫助!現在他巳能說三詞句子,識A-Z or a-z,識數數量由1-10,識部份顏色,一般形狀,識認幾個簡單中文字及英文字!

我個仔25個月大, 剛去了衛生署評詁中心, 護士初步評詁語言表達, 認知及理解delay9個月. 正式評詁要等到4/07. 十月尾會做幼兒綜合能力測試fm靈實種籽計劃.

什麼是幼兒綜合能力測試，需要排期嗎 ??

我個仔是在中九龍兒童體智能中心做的結果。我剛在私人做話言語理解還好，近23個月，但言語表達慢半年至9個月，還有口部肌肉弱，所以發音做得唔好。

在衛生署做是正式評估, 但我個仔見了護士,她只是問一些小朋友資料&觀察一下他, 醫生評估要等到07年4月. 因等得太耐, 所以我朋友介紹我去靈實幼兒綜合能力測試,排大約2個月左右.其實 協康會 & 香港基督教服務處 也有綜合評估.

中九龍兒童體智能中心不需要等/排期嗎?
