各位對呢幾間港島區幼稚園有什麼評價?

我o黎緊要幫囡囡報出年k1, 請問大家對以下呢幾間幼稚園有乜野評價?

1. SPK
2. 聖心
3. 聖瑪加利大
4. 維多利亞(銅鑼灣興發街)

1+2+3 都好難入, 但係有天主教背景
1. 一條龍上中學, 小學中學唔洗咁煩
    要睇屋企經濟能力負唔負擔得到, 直資要交學費
2. 有小學同中學, 不過係資助.. 我諗要讀上去有一定的壓力
    但係讀呢間幼稚園出黎唔洗擔心小學無人收
    入唔到心儀小學可叫校長寫信
    我見好多天主教學校
   (eg男仔: 高主教, 女仔:嘉諾撒會屬校都會收)
3. 好好的一間學校! 小朋友返學好開心
    好多人派去st paul's catholic, marymount
    我覺得呢間學校好warm
4. 學費比較貴, 有人話好commercial
    (我認為始終無教會或其他機構support,
    真係一分錢一分貨)
    我之前上去參觀過, 都ok, d staff都好有耐性
    老師對小朋友好好
    好似會有大d機會上返維多利亞小學, 不過有係要俾$
    但我唔會放呢個係first choice, 因為無報pn班都唔易入

Both SPK and SH are good from the comments I collected. No comment on Victoria and SM.

My daughter applied SPK and SH this year.  Luckily, both accepted her and we choose SPK finally for its 一條龍上中學.

SPK interviews both parent and kid and SH interviews kid only.  Interviews are in Cantonese.

For SH, just remembered SH asked my kid to walk a short distance and then put an object in the most matching hole.  For SPK, I didn’t know what they asked my kid as we were interviewed at the same time.  Questions like, are you working couples, who take care your kid, why apply SPK, what you expect from SPK, will you join the school functions… etc

You can search the past SPK/SH discussion threads here.  There is very detailed info.  

One point, it should be advantages if your kid is “Big” girl and Catholic.

其實我都係幫緊阿女揀幼稚園, 所以有問下其他媽咪既意見
我鄰居兩個女都讀SMM(1個現在讀marymount primary, 另1個讀聖保祿天主教小學), SMM程度唔算太低
但我覺得英文真係唔係幾夠
如果讀返中文小學既話就應該應付到學校既課程
讀英文小學的話會比較辛苦
不過英文可以上到小學先追, 有良好學習態度先最重要!

Lucky you, I would also like my girl to study at these 2 kindergarten.  By the way, my girl born at the end of September, does SPK likes these type of girls.  If you answer is the maid take car of my child, will they like it?  What did you say?  Of course, we are a working couple and of course I love to join the school functions.  However, how much do you pay monthly?  and how old is your child?

We are working couple too and just have a local home assitance taking care my kid at day time.  I don't see SPK has preference to non-working mum.  One of my kid's classmate was born in Sep too.  The monthly fee is $2354.

Don't over worry. If you like the kindergarten, just give it a try and make the final decision once you got the offer.

I do suggest you search "SPK" or "SH" to get more information.  Good luck!

係呀係呀, 好同意你講法呀! 細囡真係...蝕呀! 上年我個女發緊微燒, 流緊鼻水, 我地都食左葯照去考, 阿女都好叻架喇, 入到課室, 有叫老師早晨, 我亦聽到佢答左老師唔少問題, 雖然唔太清楚佢答老師乜野, 但起碼聽到阿女有答野! 我同我老公亦都做足功課去迎戰老師既提問...好可惜, final都係reject! 初初係有少少失望, 但諗深一層, 人地大囡都唔收, 何況我果個係年尾女...算啦算啦, 塞翁失馬丫嘛!

丫...仲有, 全職媽咪係無著數既, 因為我都係全職媽咪, 但佢地都唔收架!

有人建議我今年再考多次spk, 我而家仲考慮緊, 因為考多次既話, 阿女就會由細囡變成超大囡...加上個感覺好似留班咁...真係要認真認真考慮下先得! 不過又咁...佢地真係收先算啦!

marymount primary 係英文小學架
鄰居兩個女現在同讀幼稚園時無補習英文, 只係升小一前有去bristish council上course 同細個睇VCD, 都catch up到
不過我諗要睇每個小朋友既情況啦...

咁如果你係我, 你會唔會考慮同阿女考多年SPK呀? 我個女係零三年十月架!

仲有仲有, 真光好似係收大女(即足三歲果種呢), 咁你囡囡當年係咪足三歲, 所以考到真光架? 本來我都想考架, 可惜阿女唔夠秤, 根本無機會考!
