点解唔留番係SFA, 就算佢無聯系或直屬中學, 但升中派位係好好噃, 即使自行或要叩門亦會有很多好中學收.

我同你一樣呀, 囡囡插班考了一間幾好又唔駛錢的小學, 不過她好鍾意她原本間學校話唔肯轉校, 怕佢唔開心所以多數讀番原校了,  如果俾我揀, 我就會揀間唔駛錢的, 但你不如問下自己想點, 又問下囡囡想點先決定啦! 始終轉校最受影響的都是她本人嘛!

如果是Maryknoll convent 就一定讀, 但Maryknoll father 就要諗清楚, 我聽講有個SFA女仔插到瑪利諾(convent) 後讀左無耐都返回去SFA, 何況Maryknoll father

SFA程度及名氣又高過瑪利諾神父,升英中派位好.

Both these 2 schools are my mother schools. I suffered 7 years (pri.) in SFA and enjoyed 7 years in MFS (pri.). MFS was my first choice (actually my parents' choice). In my mind, MFS was a traditional school while SFA emphased their accelerated syllabus to 'push' their students.

Comparatively, the socio-economic status of families of SFA was much higher than those of MFS.

MFS is an above-average school (in terms of academic results). Their University-entrance rate is still high enough. The teachers there are nice. My fds' daughter (her little brother start next year) studying there and feel 'ok' with their life there.

Feel free to go. a reasonable choice.

I think if you feel the school 'push' your daughter, that means your daughter cannot catch the standard, If I were you, I will change school too, like another father (KenPapa), his first son studied in SFA and got a very good result, however, his second son  could not catch the standard, so he sent him to another school. 瑪利諾神父 is a traditional school and the standard is just above average, I think your daughter will enjoy the school life.

The new member is right, if you need to stay in primary school 7 year, you will suffer a lot.

Haha, dear Andrew, I am sorry that there was some  misleading info. Actually, at that time (20+ yrs ago), there had 1 yr 'pre-primary' before anyone start the K1.
