請給意見.

Do u have any good choice in 2nd round?
For me, I won't choose St. Margaret but of course u shld see if u have any good choice for govt school.

我自己就幾鍾意聖瑪加利, 一條龍,小班教學, 著重英語.  不過我個囡仲係waiting list, 希望有機會入到啦.

yes, 2 session.  10:00 (English) and   14:00 (Cantonese).   

But it seems they have admitted lots of kids in the 1st phase.   And only 2 classes available (38 x 2).
So, just check the luck only.

我諗佢地仲想揀d elite student, 如果唔係唔會仲招生啦, 我地d waiting list 嘅都唔收, 都唔知仲有無機會.....唉!   :cry:

兩間學校各有各的好處, 陳守仁較出名, d 學生表現得較有自信, 而聖瑪加利是一條龍, 將來不需要再煩多一次.

請各位比些意見.

I think it depends whether the schools' education mission and vison matched your expectation.
If you agreee with this school's theory then you should appliy for it. On the other hand, if you think this school is a backup school becasue you child didn't accept by other schools, then you should leave it, becasue consequence problem will come up later even your child is adimitted and study there. It is a higher chance your mind will keep on thinking this school is not your first choice.

You may also consider the location of the school and your residential area as well, you should not apply for a school if the transport time is more than 45 min each way, otherwise you kid will feel very tired after couple hours in the school bus.

A friend of mine was so lucky, her child was accepted by PLKTSK, St Margaret and Marynoll father by Government first round allocation, and PLKCKY also offered her child second interview. Actually, she got the offer from PLKTSK & Marynoll father last monday and St Margaret last tuesday. She said she will let her child to study at St. Margaret, as she likes St Margaret because it is a one dragon school, and she agreed with  St Margaret's teaching theory and she found that St Margaret curriculum is comparative with PLKCKY, and the school fee is more reasonable.

我阿囝都是waiting list, 我想是否可以在星期六去聽下簡价會, 然後問下佢地怎樣處理waiting list. 實在有點奇怪. 究竟佢地是想再見多d 睇下是否會加班. 定系點呢

我想他們不會加班, 因為校長曾經係簡介會上講過佢地只夠資源收兩班.  佢地仲收生一定係想收多d高質素嘅學生, 到真係揀無可揀之後未到我地呢d waiting list囉. :cry:

會唔會主動一點用誠意可以打動校長呢. 不過我都會在星期六去學校問下什麼情況的..畢竟, 聖瑪加利都是不錯的學校來的.加兩錢肉緊睇下有沒有機lor...
我到目前為止都末有一間收..好慘~~

我本人畢業於SMGC，譚校長好NICE！！！以前ST.MARGRET學生跳中國舞好叻，唔敢肯定識跳舞有冇幫助

是否因為學校跳舞叻...所以收女仔多d 呢, 我囝囝幼稚園的女同學大多有offer. 男仔就不一定...

但我見佢地男女生嘅比例都好平均哦.  我個囡都有跳芭蕾舞, 不過我諗個個都有學架啦, 似乎無咩優勢, 除非攞過獎啦, 但得果幾歲人仔好難參加d咩比賽架哦.

本人小兒現讀p1，感覺這school有些混亂，但無可否認英文係幾好。homework不算好多，but i don't know where come from? because they have 2 class 3 group.
sometime the homework done already but no need to bring to school.

may be that is new school for primary,example: school bus,time table,homework also.nobody can tell you what happen.and not easy to conact the class teacher!(i have try befor)
school bus:1.expensive
                 2.always not on time
  may be untill now only have p.1-p.3.so they group so many student altogether,一架車要經很多地方。so we need early to take the bus! I hope next year can charge.
homework:sometime the homework is don't know where come from.and they need always to charge the class room on main lesson,because they share 3 group.

but anyway they english is good.the classmate not all speak english.the chinese will play together.they have 外籍teacher.so the student always have chance to speaking. (my son speak Eng when he dreaming)

時常有捐款notice.ex:just has 4次便服日.$20/每次
萬聖節,sport day……(p.3家長說是家教會不夠錢，因為太小班.
但到目前只是三個月,希望我自已可以適應，大家可以給多D信心
