(本人之表弟3選1, 最後選了聖方濟各, 想知有沒有選錯)

I think the choice should be between SFA & APS, KTS can be neglected, I will choose SFA too as their result in allocation to band 1 is very high. (esp for girl)

I will choose SFA too.

But SFA does not have the weapon of music. Many APS students have many champion certificates in school music festival. Famous secondary schools like DBS and La Salle would opt for APS students if students of similar academic results compete together.

Why? Is 上智英文中學 in same standing as 英華書院 , 九龍華仁書院 and 拔萃男書院??

Mission沒有考慮學生人數不同和男女生比例。聖方濟各約170人，女生只有50人。宣道約120人，男女人數較平均。

I see. But it's a fact that a large number of SFA girls (30%)are allocated to 上智英文中學.

Why? Is 上智英文中學 in same standing as 英華書院 , 九龍華仁書院 and 拔萃男書院??

上智英文中學is definitely better than 英華, maybe better than 九龍華仁 in these several years.

Since the girls in SFA are smart enough, 1/3 can successful apply good schools in first round (even better than 上智). you must also count the how many of them entered to DGS, Maryknoll, St mary...

拔萃男書院 已轉直資，舊年新小拔P1－P4已有4－5班上緊去，轉了直資拔萃男書院想學國際學校，張校長說每班只收30－35人，收生要求更高，宣小入拔萃男書院機會更少，好像喇沙因有自己小學，宣小每年只有幾個。
THEN， I CHOOSE SFA。

The trend of SFA is not too optimistic.

In the last two years, Wah Yan admitted more and more students from other schools such as Tak Shun (58 students to Wah Yan for last two years). It appears that Wah Wan's relationship with SFA is deteriorating.

This year, DBS doesn't admit several top five students from SFA . I wonder after two years DBS would only admit the sports or music elites. Equipped with music talents, APS students stand better chance than SFA.   

For choosing school net, I personally feel that APS is still better than SFA. Of course, the academic standard of SFA is better than APS.

In fact, these boys had more than one choice besides DBS. They were all accepted by DBS. However, one boy gave up DBS to SPCC while the other chose LSC. It comes out that about 16 boys had been accepted by DBS excluded these two. I guess 2 or 3  boys will be accepted by DBS after the written test today. Also,the P.6 in DPSPD this year(04-05) had 6 boys from SFA.

So,the trend of SFA is optimistic . It seems that DBS is fond of the high academic standard of SFA so as the music elites from APS. The chance is fair.

要留意兩間學校的男生人數有很大的分別，SFA和APS入DBS的機會絕不是一樣，所以，正如CatCatMom所說，DBSPD學生人數的增加應對APS影響較大，可況，APS的畢業生將由120人增加至160人。

選學校，大家多只會留意最好的學生。APS沒有Band3學生，而音樂亦可為它的Band2生增值......

不過，兩年後，升中制度將改變。

Each of the three schools have students that are allocated to renown secondary schools and there are those that are not . School effort + hardworking and luck are all important.

SFA既school net  好難係central allocation 羅到幾多9 wah 既位,全靠實力係中學自行收生,先至每年入左１０個 Wah Yan ,唔係同wah yan既relationship差.Tak Shun 係ＫＬＮ１同一school net, 多過ＳＦＡ係正常. 正如宣道2年先至有1個入到Wah Yan既道理一樣.
新小拔今年自行修生收左好多SFA既叻學生係真既!

大家亦應留意學校的宗教，APS有6成學生升讀基督教的中學，只有1成半升讀天主教的中學，而SFA就相反，大部份學生升讀天主教的中學。學校的宗教對學生選校是有影響的。
