男仔做考名幼repeat k1做超大B，定安於現狀繼續做細B?

想請教下各位爸媽的經驗

仔仔係2014年10月B
剛剛完成了一年英普N班，8月中會原校升k1
仔仔在N班的進度不錯
而仔仔亦喜歡學校
融入校園生活
理應照上k1應該問題唔大

不過，依家考慮緊好唔好今年以超大b身份試下報名幼K1, 即如果收的話便repeat k1。但如果仔仔在跟得上的情況下repeat, 怕好似浪費咗一年時間(emoji)(emoji)(emoji)(emoji)


其實值唔值得為咗名幼而repeat k1?(我知未必一定考到名幼，但都想預早諗諗呢個問題）

想請教下各位家長的經驗。感謝！(emoji)(emoji)

吾洗repeat但未必入到目標小學，我寧願搏一次
反正名幼入其他小學應該都吾會太差

視乎仔仔入到邊間
如私小全軍覆沒
都希望叩到不錯的津校
我們唔算係好催谷的家長
想小朋友自由發揮
所以都無話要為咗target某些學校而催谷仔仔

my chinese typing is too slow.. allow me to express my views in English..

i have the same thought as you do before,but after doing some research, i think popular 直資私小 is in fact very competitive and its very difficult to be accepted if some sort of preparations and training are not arranged beforehand.. which i think may contradict your 唔算係好催谷 perspective..

to increase chances, it may be helpful to get into kindergartens where students have a higher ratio of getting in...  yet i won't give all the credits to the school coz parents' work including parenting, reading, arranging extra curricular activities have also contributed to their placement results..

我會為龍幼repeat做超大，但唔會為所謂名幼repeat，而且好視乎妳而家讀緊嘅係邊間？而且我唔明妳小朋友今年先升K1，點解又會喺今年repeat K1？妳係咪指出年repeat?

Thank you for the insights.  They are really helpful!  Yes the competition is so keen especially for renounced primary schools.  Kids have to be well equipped before they go into the P1 application process.  And can't agree more on the view that parenting and other factors are as well important :)

而家小朋友讀緊屋企附近的私幼，有分校那種但唔係名幼。佢2016-2017完成PN, 黎緊2017-2018會原校讀K1, 黎緊試下報名幼2018-2019的K1, 所以如果repeat k1就會係下年8月。

如要repeat K1，我只會選擇龍幼。如果冇龍幼offer，我會選擇留返P1 repeat考心儀小學。

Repeat P1 而考入心儀小學嘅比例比repeat K1 入非龍幼私幼考入心儀小學高，而且假如小朋友唔需要repeat K1已經可以考入心儀小學嘅話就更加無需要repeat K1。

留意部份名幼/龍幼有入學年齡限制，未必可以申請repeat K1，但可申請插班K2

朋友今年repeat P1 考到 DB 同 spcc，當然佢小朋友校內成績唔差。

原來如此。

其實K1開始，係未就要開始準備，坊間咁多野學，都唔知學邊樣好
