大家點睇？睇佢website，申請要交HKD200K，俾offer唔要即扣HKD70K無得退？上網睇佢UK好勁喎，進化論達爾文係校友。會唔會係學店一間？malvern FIS 同佢點rank?

怎能跟FIS比，人地在香港巳well established 又有track record ，收費亦不是這樣高

I have researched the one in uk before and it is quite selective and well rounded. Ranking is not bad too at similar levels as some other popular boarding schools amongst hk parents. The uk school comes to hk to recruit students every year and they are regarded as a top school by hk agency. In fact many renowned boarding schools start to branch out to Asia like Harrows, Dulwich, Wycombe Abbey.
No one knows if the hk one would replicate the uk one completely but I think it's good to research if they have a site in hk already? I think school environment is very important. And what about fees?

有幾間英基都香港人多，但起碼會考下英文level先收，但如果新學校收得太loose, 英語水平不保，互相説廣東話，或學了一口港式英文，也是一個隱憂。

This might happen to many boarding schools which take many Chinese . I understand that Shrewsbury relatively take less Chinese than some others high in the ranking table. I talked to the registrar sometime before and I hv a feeling that their students mix is rather wide ranged from different nationalities but it is true that it is not 100% boarding so quite many local students attend day school only. In uk, there are many independent schools run both day and boarding schools and hence you would see many chinese in boarding houses.

Nowadays mainland Chinese means big chunk of fortune and education is, at the end still running a business. So it is inevitable there will be more and more Chinese in the overseas boarding schools.

Correct. Therefore if u see kids talking to each other in Chinese in uk boarding schools, it is not new news at all. In some schools, all the boarding places are hk students or Chinese students.

學費真係貴了點, 又無中學, 相對無咁吸引咁, 我當是後備, 如果心儀的唔收就申請, 有沒有知現在收生如何

Can tell how much you needed to pay. Is it Year 1 offer ?

I am interested in this school but it seems that the initial deposit is too high and their campus is under construction. I am not sure if my boy likes the school.

我星期五都會去interview，之前都係去過兩次學校介紹會，感覺良好，加上近屋企，所以申請。請問interview會問啲咩？同埋你會選擇入讀嗎？

主要考小朋友英語表達及溝通能力，校長會先同小朋友講故事warm up, 應該有份paper assessment 。 家長部份主要針對小朋友發展，了解家長的理念同計劃，亦有問點解會選擇shrewbury。

其實點解會報呢幾間學校？又冇track record, 校舍設施又唔係特別吸引。會唔會傳統嘅國際學校會好一啲？我見越來越多國際學校
