囡囡是一個活潑好動型小孩子
但聖羅撒好像比較嚴謹及傳統
九龍塘學校(小學部)比較活動及自由

本人對聖羅撒所知不多, 請各家長提供意見, 選擇哪間才對?

你好好彩抽到聖羅撒,我都派唔到,聽朋友話聖羅撒老師好百有愛心對小朋友好好,而課程冇九龍塘學校(小學部)深會比較冇太大壓力.我派唔到聖羅撒,先讀九龍塘學校(小學部).課程實在太深小一讀小二英文.這是個人意見.

St. Rose is very strict, the girls seems to become very quiet, depends whether you want your girl to be so or not ...

聽說聖羅撒小學=strict=queit=no running=no shorting=no laughing....too many 不可
但有直屬Band 1 英文中學, 不用 6 年後再煩

又有人說九龍塘學校=活動式=開心=功課輕鬆
但要 $2900 per month

.....完全相反的見解, 使我更難決擇..... 怎麼辦?

你都有去九龍塘學校註冊.校方比左一份有關考試,一年有2次測驗,2次考試,而在芝其中1科低於60分or2科低於50分,就要留班,而留班只可1次,我聽完想死,好大壓力.

My girls study in St. Rose KG.  I did search for St. Rose primary section for information and I know 2 parents from St. Rose primary.  As I said, both gave me positive comments for the school.

6月3日(統一派位公報前一天)我打過電話去問,佢地話佢地無留叩門位的啊,,,我重問埋咁我睇結果時放底封信俾校長得唔得,佢就話"當日無人收信",,咁我話我寄封信俾校長可以嗎?佢話"無咁o既需要...." :wink:
不過你可以試吓親自拎信去or寄去~~或者有人無註冊的話咪有學位囉,,heheh

I remembered you mentioned you would like your daughter to study at St. Rose, so suprised to learned from other topic that your daughter will take Maryknoll and you feel headache now in order to enhance your daughter's English standard.  Your daughter got the seat at Maryknoll in the 1st round?  Sorry for too noisy, just curious.

我有個姨甥女現讀小四, 其妹現讀聖羅撒幼稚園,都唔一定
直入小學,想當年佢家姐同學都有3成不能直上,喊到成隻豬
咁,所以外面學生唔容易入,都要等抽獎,而家佢小四, 功課我
又唔覺得好深, 但好似唔覺佢無甚麼課外堂咁, 可能學校唔催谷, 家長是否參加都無所謂 !!!相對我見過一個女DPS 小二
女仔, 表現得好醒目, 好有自信心 !
其實坊間對聖羅撒評價都係好好, 都係 brand 1 ,入到都好
好運架 !!!!!

I'm not sure you are giving positive or negative comments about St. Rose.

"功課我又唔覺得好深, 但好似唔覺佢無甚麼課外堂咁" - does it mean that the standard is not good and no extra activities?

相對我見過一個女DPS 小二女仔, 表現得好醒目, 好有自信心 - does it mean that girls in St. Rose not smart and no confidence?

其實坊間對聖羅撒評價都係好好 - I would like to know your 姨甥女 & her parents' real comments - does this school really a good school in the sense of academic standards and ethics?

當然佢毋親覺得ok啦 !  

我覺得聖羅撒中學麻麻地,我曾建議佢毋親試下考協恩
或女拔萃插班, 佢亞媽都話好難入到, 就算考到,
佢亞媽會更辛苦 !  
  
你見聖羅撒邊方面較突出 ? 學術上 / 運動 / 音樂 ?
我就唔覺有 !!!但或者樣樣都平均啦 !!!

最後, 此間學校在大部人心目中都係好好架 (即係
Brand 1) , 並且一D都唔易入 !

Your girls is studying in St. Rose K3.  Right?  If yes, then send the application letter to the KG and ask them to pass to primary section.  However, I remember you choose St. Mary in the 1st round, so the chance could be lower.

Still you need to try, if the school you get from the 2nd round is really bad.  Moreover, since your 1st choice is not St. Rose, how about the 2nd round, is St. Rose your 2nd choice in Part A?  Per Sister Lam, the headmaster of KG, it is important to show your sincere in the application.  May be you should add a letter explaining why you didn't choose St. Rose as first choice, and your change of mind is too late to get the form back form St. Mary at that time.  It is important to let her willing to you in your case.  

Regarding interview, I really have no idea.  I will think to be her ownself in the interview and let her shows her eager to study in St. Rose because she likes the school very much.

Still, I do like St. Rose.  But just as most parent said, Maryknoll is a dream school for most of us.    So, after a long struggle between these 2 schools, I changed my mind in the last minute and I took the risk to try Maryknoll.  And I am lucky to get the seat in the 1st round.

若果小朋友係St. Rose 幼稚園既学生.叩門会好大機会成功..我妹個女係St. Rose 幼稚園既学生.佢上年9月聽過幼稚園果边既選校家長會.St. Rose 幼稚園既校長話只要兩關都以St. Rose 小學為首志願.就算兩關都失敗都唔緊要.返去叩門會一定收......我妹就係聽到幼稚園既校長咁講..佢先以15分選St. Rose 小學..點知失敗左...統一派位又以甲一跨區選St. Rose 小學...點知又失敗左 :  :  : 佢就好唔開心 但佢叩唔叩門我就唔知了
