我女派到聖羅撒,想問問大家覺得呢一間學校點啊?
因我都唔多機會去到第二間了,問到人都話幾好,但我唔知係"真係幾好"定係"安慰"多囉,,,

聖羅撒有中學back up,仲係幾出名,只要小學成績唔太差,入讀其中學的機會唔低,只要keep住啲成績六年後唔駛再煩一次,我有朋友的女女今在該小學讀小一,學校算係幾唔錯。

I think the primary school is good but pls be reminded that secondary school is in Shatin.

Hi, Cameo,

My girls are in St. Rose KG and I know two parents in the primary section.  They told me that St. Rose Primary is good.  Both of them have 2 girls and the 2nd one will also choose St. Rose as first choice for sure.

So, you really don't need to worry about this.  You can also visit the school website to have better understanding about the school.

其實我係將st.rose填在乙部第二志願的,我一心無諗住入到的,因我(甲一)油天(甲二)協恩(乙一)協恩(乙二)聖羅撒(乙三)合一堂
我一心係諗任自己一係就好好彩入到油天or協恩,萬一衰左就會跌到去合一堂或更差的,,,,,,
所以事先無真正去睇太多st.rose的資料囉,,,
我都知佢中學已經搬左,因我妹妹本身係中學部的舊生嚟,不過都有人同我講佢中學個網都好好,只要小學六年keep住成績好都唔怕第二升中有大問題
但我而家係諗緊,st.rose會唔會好似部份名校咁,必需要keep住補習,報讀英語班等等去追住成績呢???學校會唔會要學生"必需"有課外活動?

睇完條link真係了解左好多了,實不相暪,其實我唔太識o係bk度search番d舊topic的啊,我每日都有上個校網度睇,又上yahoo搜尋,因我都想知多d,不過真係無諗過原來新生的家長最擔心係中文啊,,,,,,
因我女女都係性格好硬頸,我知升小一後老師唔會好似幼稚園咁氹bb仔了,我怕佢會轉左牛角尖唔鍾意間學校,因我女今年只有佢一個升聖羅撒,我知佢有少少唔開心!
最後,真係真心一句"唔該晒"...因為你搵番條link俾我睇之後,我發覺我比之前更鍾意呢間學校呢~

請放心, 這學校看似普通但實質不是, 它們是活動教學, 比小朋友很多空間, 你一定有意想不到的收穫.

(其實我囡囡現正讀它們的幼稚園k2, 今年九月第一輪選校, 我當然會把它放在第一位, 我是31網的, 我不選名校了, "St Mary" 因為我想囡囡輕鬆及開心的情況下學習)

其實我女活動or傳統都ok,因佢好都非常坐唔定,我相信活動教學佢會o係成績上有多少幫助,但相對傳統教學又對佢品行有好大幫助囉,因為佢都幾自我的,所以兩樣都有其好處

No need to thanks.  I have been visited this website for one year so I know that there is this topic for St. Rose.  Their secondary school is a English Secondary School, so St. Rose primary English is good as well.  Per one of the parent, St. Rose is strongest in English and weak in Maths.

My girl is studying K1 and K3.  The elder girl will not go to St. Rose for P1.

Since St. Rose has her own KG and most of the parents will choose St. Rose primary school, the school has a method to help the kids to adapt in their new primary school live.  KG is 活動教學, therefore, P1 will not be traditional.  The school set their mind to help the kids, so really don't need to worry too much.  As I said, so far I did not heard any complaint from the parents except that there will be a lot of projects (should be for higher level).

爸爸喜歡聖羅撒, 因有有直屬Band 1 英文中學, 不用 6 年後再煩
但囡囡及媽媽卻prefer九龍塘學校, 貪她較活動,輕鬆

I just answered your other message.  I think you should bring your girls to visit St. Rose and let her see again.  I can't search from the school website, but I don't know why I have an impression that the P.1 - 3 of St. Rose is 活動教學.  You better call the school to check their teaching method or visit their website.

I have no idea about 九龍塘學校, so no comment.

St.Rose給我女兒的第一印象不是太好, 因校舍比較古舊, 地方又不十分大 (相比協恩那新的校舍而言)
放榜當日, 她得知派往聖羅撒, 竟然哭了一大場 !說寧願讀九龍塘學校也不讀聖羅撒.....原因只得一個 - "不喜歡"

雖然我們多次嘗試帶她往學校, 希望讓她了解多一些而有所改觀, 但嚴謹的聖羅撒校方竟然不准我們入內, (儘管我們已獲派位), 不准就是不准 ! 他們說 : "開學後每天都可進來啦, 不用心急..."

因女兒是很硬脛的, 如最終不能令她改觀, 最終可能要放棄學位

我都俾唔到兩間學校實際意見俾你呀~
我個女性格都勁硬頸,所以我從來無同佢提過打算選邊一間學校,即使佢問到我,我都只係答佢而家未知~
我都體諒個女,因佢學校得佢一個入st.rose,不過只會諗方法去安慰,唔好太遷就啊,,,
其實傳統又好,活動又好,我自己覺得係自己需要,我知我個女性格入"活動"會學野有心機,成績可能會好d,若傳統我諗我需要"迫"佢多d囉,,,...但我個係獨女,性格天生硬頸,坐唔定,如果"活動"只會更加令佢周身郁無時停,,相反"傳統"d佢可能行為上,品德上會學得乖d囉,,,,,
所以兩間學校選邊間都好,諗佢真正適合邊間為主要囉,小朋友而家話唔鍾意啫,佢地適應能力比我地高好多啊

I visited St. Rose website - 校內活動 - 小一迎新. You can show it to your girl to see the inside of the school.  校慶活動 is also very good pages to visit, this is held yearly.  Girls have funs in this day and all of them enjoy it very much as a lot of gifts can be winned.

Frankly speaking, the school is not big and is old (over 50 years).  But most of the famous schools in HK are with history, which means old campus.  I visited the primary section twice during the school day, you can say that it is not a big school with a lot of space.  However, it is not fair to weight only the school campus.  There are a lot inside quality we being a parent need to consider.

Cameo mentioned that there is a parent day on July 2.  By that time, you can go early and should have a brief look of the school.

You can also ask your girl if she will prefer to go to study with boys or girls only.  I think this is one of the major different between the 2 schools.  Lastly, the PE uniform of St. Rose is Pink or Light blue (the girls can make their own choice), while KTS will be brown color.  The colorful uniform should gain some marks on a girl's mind.

係呀,,我都開左幾次個網俾個女睇,佢睇到校服有條粉紅色belt都不知幾鍾意添...佢都有問過我,係咪間學校好細(可能同學之間會傾呢個問題卦),我咪笑笑口話"吓?唔細喎,我見大過屋企好多好多...."..hehehe...
重開過校歌俾佢聽(音樂),俾佢睇多d,hehe~
入面有少少小一的功課,我都有開俾個女睇呀,,,
重有班相la..上年迎新活動等等,,,,,好多野的啊!

我無深入睇過佢個未來發展呀,大約睇到係一個好長遠o既項目!
不過睇番你地留言,好似多人擔心中文科較多呢?我反而係擔心個月英文,因佢興趣不大.....至於功課我都唔識分乜係多乜係少呢,但我個女本身都鍾意做功課,所以我又唔太擔心呢點囉......
