唔計地方、學費、歷史等等其他嘢，純睇排名，你哋會覺得邊個排名最重要？

世界/全國排名？個別學科排名？


例如：
大學A全國排名比大學B高啲，但心儀學科就比大學B低啲

咁揀邊間好啲呢？

不過如果專科就要B餐啦，舉例如藥劑，NOTTINGHAM 排名全國30,BATH頭10，但科目排名，N排全國頭3，世界頭10，BATH 排全國頭5，世界就排後好多。所以選N

我問過外國大學裡面的招生人員，佢地話分科排名重要D，而且要睇過往既畢業生就業統計。整體排名唔係咁重要，佢地D外國人父母係咁睇。

如果可以，就問下 "行業內人士"，尤其專業科。
我個人經驗，行內人大多數會話 B 好 D。

在QS Accounting & Finance的Subject Ranking,牛津係排第三,但牛津根本沒有accounting的first degree。換句話講,排名根本不是比較學士課程的質素和出路。只看排名選校,隨時會中伏。

As to the field of computer science or computer engineering, i think Carnegie Mellon University is absolutely a leader.

Also, try to see whether you child would fit in a huge university or a small university as well. Most high ranking universities are really huge and have huge intake. These are usually good for students that are outgoing and talkative. Shy students will most probably fade into the background in a huge class. They probably would fit better in smaller universities.

For UK universities, if we are not talking about Oxbridge, ICL or LSE (only these 4), I will see more important on the subject ranking (rather than overall ranking) with these tables.

Global/international ranking for UK universities even more meaningless.

If in USA, then follow the overall university ranking table, unless you seriously want to go for some specialize college.

英國Econ學位最好應該係Cambridge。

諗住亞女今年讀完中五就會過去讀foundation。  Cambridge 無foundation 班，所以Cambridge 讀唔到了。

另外想請問一吓，為何我在某些ranking table 上，找不到Economics呢科，而只找到Accounting ＆ Finance， 或者Business Management。 請問econ 會否under Accounting ＆ Finance 的類別呢？
