If it is true, why 珠心算 is more popular than 史丰收?

I'm sharing exactly the same question.
史丰收 sounds very impressive as per your quote. But 珠心算 seems really more popular than 史丰收. My son is now 5 years old and he's quite interested in Maths. So I'm thinking about giving him some Maths lessons. And he is studying in international school, I'm not sure if it's essential/useful for kids from int'l schools.

How old is your kid ? How do you compare the two ?

係真的高位算起,但對學習冇什麼影響.
2. 手腦並用，開發大腦潛能。
學了後,又好似記憶力真的大增and頭腦靈活些.
3. 不用計算工具，不列運算程序，可一口報出答案，
速度甚至可挑戰電腦。
計個位連加二十五次,萬位連加七次,六位乘一位,三位乘三位又真的不用數秒,立即可報答案.
4. 可運用在+ , - , x ﹐÷, 平方, 開方, 三角函數和對數上。
計平方, 開方真的話咁易.
5. 聯合國教科文組織推薦，能有效開發大腦智能。and6. 已被編入中國及馬來西亞的正規教育課程。
就唔知係未真,但聽講中國都幾多人用,中國坊間還有很多史丰收vcd and習作賣.

I think it is a bit complicated to use the equipment for a 5-year old kid and the equipment is not same as the traditional one.  I am not saying 珠心算 is not good but it does not suit my kid and myself for the time being so we quit.  Maybe some other parents can share the good sides of 珠心算. Two of my friends say the finger approach seem working for their kids and hence I would like to try 史丰收.  I am considering to try either 博X精英 or 俊X?  Any BK parents have the experience with 博X精英 as it claims it has been granted with some prizes related to史丰收. And 俊X has been recommended and tried by two BK parents.  I just want to find one good and stay with it for longer time. No need to shop around. Thanks!!!

你的囡囡五歲,未試吓學史丰收,五歲是幼兒班十堂開始,之後是預備班十堂,再之後是初班二十堂...
很多人都係五歲開始學,因為要屈手指,太細很難屈!
每天都抽五分鐘左右做習作,記得幫小孩對吓功課,
你可以叫囡囡學二十堂試吓!看好不好些,最好幼兒班開始,打好基礎!
學了二十堂左右,應該可以很快地計出個位連加十幾次!
學到這裏很多小孩還喜歡一見到電話號碼,車牌號碼等,就加起來.

俊Ｘ,班班學生人數都不同,幼兒班會多人些,但平常不超過8人(暑假就很多人一班)有時還1:1or1:3等都有,要看星期幾and班級,最好不要星期六,非常多人,請假有補堂.
博Ｘ,Super 麻麻!

      你好,那間中心不是Super 麻麻,應該係非常非常差!!!
      至於點差,就算打一日字都打不完.對不起,真的不願多提,每次一想到博Ｘ兩個字,都好唔開心!你可以問吓其他有得學史丰收中心的人or小孩學了一年以上的家長!但有時候,在BK有人比較該中心or問那間中心好不好,我都有pm少少資料給他們參考,因為大家咁愛仔女,唔想他們的小孩在一間受衆家長指責的中心學習(雖然那間中心的家長and學生"應該"聽不到),說實話,我咁"八",從未聽過有人讚該中心,彈的就非常非常多,每年某個月尾and某個月頭在家長堆裏都駡聲四起責那間中心的不是,沒有誇張呢!

普通啦!
都快人少少,因為一星期上兩堂,
朋友囡囡一星期一堂,六歲時個位連加25次只需8秒,而乘數就學到6X4位and6位÷3位,之後就唔知,因為上了小學,唔同校,所以現在很少來往,只知她一早學完了,其實我想會不會間間差不多(速度上).
我的仔仔囡囡都冇學,但以前成日同那位媽咪一齊,因為囡囡都係附近上興趣班,所以未同她係中心成日傾未知,
有次貪玩,想同她囡囡打氣,跟她到會展的大賽,因為等比賽,但會場很嘈,所以係門口等,之後就聽到很多其他中心家長勁數那間中心,初時都唔知邊間,朋友話年年都係咁,咁我又親眼見到那間中心的人鐘停了,還在做,收卷的那個人又唔叫停,還慢慢收,其他中心的人鐘響就停,還快快收卷,原來收卷那個都係該中心的人(聽D家長係門口講),場場都係咁,本來冇留意,但他們件衣服太鮮色了,又大字寫中心名,所以未知攞!
之後的嗰個月都係聽到D家長勁數!我受了摧眠啦!
我都係唔想大家的小朋友在被人數臭的中心學習先咁講!
非常對不起!真的冇惡意的!
