請問各位子女往英國升學的家長，你地找會否找多過一間agent提供選校意見嗎？有沒有誠實丶誠懇、可信的agent可以推介？另外，找agent幫忙報學校之餘，會否自行直接向某些學校提交申請呢？(點解）

我個時自己直接寫信比學校申請，無經agency.

路過，貨比三家就可以 ，agent賺佣金是不爭事，日校自己找，宿舍學校找agent好處知最新華人人數，學獎金，重要如投訴交agent處理會很快有結果。

我四月揾agent都已經遲，你仲遲過我喎Ｄ嘢咪做得好趕囉

出名個d學校唔會比agent 搞架喎，佢地唔洗經agent都大把 application. 其實自己上學校website,跟著佢地d procedure 就得。將來有乜事，家長直接contact 學校 就最方便。

除了聽agent講, 自己都要上網做功課, 可以在這兒問, 又可以上mumsnet discussion看看.

哈哈，一d都唔趕，我個女係2017去讀sixth form，佢係2017考igcse,所以時間很充裕, 而且我咩都唔識，所以要周圍請教吸取意見和經驗。因有利益關系，所以我唔會信晒agent....請各位多多指教!

我都係咁諗，但我幫個女選的都是top tier的學校，要entrance test and interview, 我唔知agent會唔會因為少commission 而求求其其.......

You have plenty of time.

It is without doubt that AA has the best school profile.  The bad thing of AA is it screens the candidate upfront, not even submit relevant information to the schools.  If you are not from local elite schools, they won't let you apply certain schools.  My son was the case.  We were rejected by AA for the two schools we wanted to apply through AA.  We then went to another agent.  The lady sent my son's school reports and the result of preliminary test done there.  After a short while, we were informed of sitting for the entrance tests and interview.  One of the school accepted my son within a week after the exam and the other one we chose not to proceed as we had offer from the first choice school before the exam.

My experience tells that - don't just listen to one agent.  Try to explore through other channels for your target.  There is no harm trying.

The good thing of direct dealing is that you can always have first hand information and can show your sincere.

This is hard to tell.  You may do it in parallel.

For the school my son currently studying, I applied via agent for admin sake (less border to arrange venue for exam and skype).  With consent of the agent, I wrote to the registrar directly for enquiry (cc the agent).  Hence, I got first hand information and what I wanted to know explicitly.

I would say some consultants are experienced and can share with you useful information.  But some are not.  Kind of trying your luck.

其實係個衰仔讀小三時，己經做了升學路線圖俾佢，預計讀完中三，就出國讀書，但係越大越反抗，唔肯去外國讀書。

到了今年，衰仔表哥捱義氣，帶佢去歐洲行下，順道洗腦，6月28日出發，7月12日回港，跟旅行團，最後數天係英國stay behind,週圍睇下的學校。

我係7月8日找agent，交咗成積表，但要等衰仔回港，才知他肯唔肯出國讀書，由於衰仔成日唔返學(中中中三)，成績排尾個層，操行差，我作為家長，係選學校方面，我接近no say,咁agent俾咗7間我選擇，1間係IB,呢間唔駛諗，其他學校，各種原因唔選，到最後呢間，報名重讀中三 ，從衛星地圖望落去，真係好荒山野嶺。Agent話好少華人同學，agent話9個華人 ，全校約200學生 ，本地人佔大多數。

衰仔到了英國中學後，10問9唔應，暫時我根據佢嘅零碎資料  ，佢嗰班共10位同學，9個係當地英國同學，宿舍方面，5個同學一間房，有德國 ，西班牙。


咁我問衰仔，多唔多機會講英文，佢答:多!跟著乜都唔講。

好似亞細果間學校(荒山野嶺。Agent話好少華人同學，agent話9個華人 ，全校約200學生 ，本地人佔大多數。宿舍方面，5個同學一間房，有德國 ，西班牙。)
