英國報讀醫是必需要有此條件，香港不是必須，only nice to have.

以過來人家長的看法 ......

1. 我覺得值得去醫院, 診所, 相關職業或行業做義工，可能他見血就暈，害怕消毒藥水氣味 .... 無謂浪費個位。

2. 有些同學可能對人 .... 對跟人溝通(不同的人) ..... 有障礙，無乜愛心。

3. 單憑好成績亦未必就能夠讀完讀醫科，要有一定的 Passion，因為好成績還有不少選擇。

4. 過程中，會知道是一份高度厭惡性職業。
5. 如果適合，可以轉化為挑戰及動力。

利申: 小兒因成績未達標，所以入唔到！

同意！熱誠愛心，好重要！我舊鄰居係單親，小朋友自少就愛心爆棚，媽媽不時收留流浪小動物，小朋友幫手清理傷口、打針、餵藥，甚至逐條清理傷口中的烏蠅蟲！少少年紀已許下救傷扶危的志願，勤奮讀書後如願入了中大醫學院！實習時只覺缺少睡眠，但對嘔吐物、血污、糞便，處之態然！選擇專科也偏向冷門的老人科、骨科！醫生除了成績尖，品德抱負更重要！

醫管局今年嘅學生義工計劃已經開始報名，不過時數長，中四去好D, 中五去太花時間。
中五可以考慮中大醫學院嘅 Clinical Attachment Programme，都報緊名喇。

同意醫管局的義工服務工時長，舊年姨甥女做過，朝九晚五，入病人資料等，幾乎成個暑假咁滞

My D and I did not have any personal relationship with CU or HKU. She applied for the summer medical program of CU and HKU for secondary school students in 2011. She was admitted to CU but was rejected by HKU. Upon making further submission to HKU, she was also admitted to its summer medical program. However, she did not attend any of the summer medical program because at the end of the day, she was admitted as an intern in a medical laboratory.
