查找真道書院的不足

我一向都很支持真道書院,覺得它在課程和教學上都在不斷地改進,但也覺得它有不足的地方,希望各家長就此可多發表意見。

學校
1. 欠缺透明度
2. 欠缺拔尖補底政策
3. 對學業或行為有問題的學生沒有特別幫助
4. 母語英語教師不足夠
5. 沒有什麼課外活動和外出參觀

註:
˙要求頗大量學生留班事件發生在去年的中一班，希望不要發
   生在現在的小學生。
˙留班或勸喻退學並不是好方法,不要抱著你唔讀大把人讀的心
   態,耍盡量幫助每一位同學。
˙我看過教育署曾表示，學校不得單以學生成績欠佳而開除學
   生，亦不應強迫學生離校或自願退學，家長若接獲學校勸喻
   子女退學，是有權拒絕接受校方的建議，並應盡快向教育署
   分區教育主任報告。

My purpose of raising this topic, however, is try to find out the problems at Logos and hope that Logos can take a look at these. I just can't accept Logos even did not arrange a formal picinc to students.

Do you mean that they cannot deliver their promise? How about the other DSS schools like GT, Pegesus, PLK CKY, are they similar to Logos?  As a lot of these schools are very new, we don't know if their vision and strategies can be carried out effectively.  Pls share with us your comments.

What a funny school plan!

The School is of course transparent. However, everything I read from the list is about helping the substandard. I doubt if a parent would send his child there if he has another choice?

學校唔攪旅行是基於什麼原因呢？無人手？無必要？還是其他原因呢？

你提及有家長會，但欠缺透明度。那麼，有沒有人在家長會提出上述問題呢？

IB course,貴校己經入了紙,但耍等政府那邊,你知政府做野的速度啦,希望丘校長唔好怪我多咀
至於旅行同課外活動,丘校長是一個勇於求改進的人,向他反映,他會跟進的,其實Logos 同DBSPD一樣是新校,同樣的system,同樣仍有很多地方需耍改善
同時,有家長有提議e.g:校車安排,1個月,2個月,3個月仍未有,有d家長就會說,promise了又無,要明白,所有政策當實行需全校配合,需耍時間的
我只是將自己所知在這平台分享,再detail的我就無可奉告

Hello Judy and didima,

I didn't mention "特殊學習需要的學生" but I did mention "Logos 對學業或行為有問題的學生沒有特別幫助" (it doesn't matter anyway). I believe there is only a small number of students having such problems. However, Logos has to address this. I also mentioned that Logos 欠缺拔尖補底政策. A normal gifted student needs 拔尖. A gifted students with emotional and behavioural difficulties needs both 拔尖 and special helps.

I have no idea but I didn't. I just forgot when's the last meeting and I don't know how to contact the association.

我唔知學校有無同家長講己經入了紙,我知多小小所以講比大家知,我唔想比人質疑我,係因為之前有topic講過,Logos未有註冊IB,我知道了呢個新消息,就同大家分享下,正如我in 完DBSPD之後同大家分享下我所見所聞一樣
