Actually my husband will interview with my daughter as I have to work. But I will ask him for details after interview.

阿仔開頭未集中注意力﹐ 不肯答問題﹐ 幸好後來都懂做老師的動作題。曾經in 過的幼稚園之中宣道的面試算是最困難了﹗

各位家長,您所知宣道有甚麼過人之處﹖ 語文教育情況如何﹖

我都認為今次interview有d難, 考好多問題. 先問小朋友姓名, 男定女, 幾多歲, 邊個同你來呀!有冇食早餐, 食咩呀!問香蕉咩顏色, 又叫小朋友在不同顏色的物件取出指定顏色, 取一隻動物問什麼來及數有幾多隻腳, 取出一本書問是什麼, 書面的卡通邊一個係Micky Mouse.仲有老師送玩具要講多謝, 走要再見及老師要求小朋友放好張椅. 我個仔仔都是答了一半啦!我都好滿意啦!祝大家好運. :  :wink:

考了幾間學校，我都覺得這間學校問好多問題，比較深。

MY hushand also said there were quite a lot questions to compare to other interviews. Fortunately my daughter answered all questions and performed very good. 1st of all, teacher asked her the name, age, what transportation she took there (my daughter answered "train", then the teacher check our address immediately to make sure she was not lie). After that, teacher asked her to stack the blocks and asked her the colours, also showed her some toy cars and ask her what's that. Then asked her the animals (tiger, elephant and lion) and last questions was the fruit (orange, apple, banana).

After all questions to my daughter, the teacher ask my husband why we choose this school and my husband said because 宣道 is 一條龍. But the teacher said only 20 to 30% students from 宣幼 were sent to 宣小 in last two years. Does anybody know is that true or not? Is the percentage really that low?

Yes, 宣道 is not 一條龍. only around 30% can enter 宣小.

Actually, I have heard from some parents (her kid is studing K1 there now)  that the parent & the kid are interviewed separatly.  First, interview the kid where they will go to play usually, then ask the parent later the same question to double check the answer.  But yesterday, they allowed both of us interviewed together.  So, I think it is easier then what I was imagined.

The teacher only ask my son's name, point to his Daddy & me and ask my son who were us.  As my son's head was hurt, she ask him what happen was his head.  As I am pregnant now, she ask my son why mommy's tummy so big and do he know who is inside (brother or sister).
Than showed him some toy cars and ask him what's that and ask him some colour and pick up the same color block to her, ask him to count how many blocks on the table.  Then give him a toy steak and ask him to cut it with knife & fork.
Then the teacher tell us they are not 一條龍 and they will have so much 親子活動 hold on weekday.  The parents are encourage to join them.  That's all. Nothing ask me & my husband.

To be honest, I chose 宣道 cos I thought this is 一條龍. If it is not, then I probably not consider.

個interview,表面看來, 好似唔複雜, 問下幾條問題, 比下玩具佢玩, 好似好簡單(因為有D要做好多常識,配對等測驗),但我覺得佢用的方法太硬, 首先都係冇咩warm, 冇玩下玩具先,一坐低,老師就直接問姓名, 好似大人見工咁,一問一答,玩具方面,卻考小朋友最弱一環--問顏色, 另外,玩煮飯仔,基本好簡單,佢就冇比d生果/肉(魔術貼果隻)去切, 考下佢O的小肌肉,竟然係睇小朋友識唔識用刀叉,  過程中都要求小朋友講好多野,小B應會較輸蝕.
  因為宣道面試期太後, 我冇早前咁勤力去操下佢,過左冷河,我女表現一般,面試時好似怕羞左,加上Interview形式咁硬,故已打定輸數~

Actually, this teacher of this kinder give me a good feeling, she's very nice to my son during the interview.   My son can answer/do all the questions & request.   

The only thing is their result annoucement is so late.

我聽到佢係30%升小學所以無報, 有家長講過論程度佢地唔及九龍塘一d幼稚園, 但咁樣check地址睇下有無答錯坐乜車, 好危險wor, 我唔一定在家出發架(我就經常係咁)   

不過小學口碑幾好, 仲有人怕佢程度高有壓力添.

我相信佢3月先知結果, 有好多家長會放棄學位, 一來培正, 民生已有結果, 而且Interview時老師講到明唔可以直升,又大大打了折扣.
