北角明慧國際 vs 大坑真光 vs 聖嘉勒

阿女讀緊明慧國際N1，會聽到佢講下英文唱日文歌，見佢都學得唔錯。但校舍真係好差，學生無乜活動空間；同學生校園生活的透明度係零，有好多幼稚園會upload學生校園生活照片到網上等父母慢慢睇，但明慧只會安排家長半年到學校看video，未必見到自己個小朋友。但學術上因為唔用學券，所以教深D，好似係唯一可取的地方。

依家另有2間offer - 大坑真光, 聖嘉勒。你哋會點睇? 唔該比些提議! thanks!!!

I'll choose the school by elimination:
Ming Wai -> local kindergarten
True Light -> Thru Train school
St. Clare's  -> Thru Train school
I'll rank thru-train school over local kindergarten, so Ming Wai is eliminated.  Then, only True Light and St. Clare's left.  
You can rank about their campus, distance to home, etc.  
For me, I'll prefer True Light than St. Clare's with a bigger campus, in which both secondary schools are more or less at the same banding.
I know that some people might prefer St. Clare's over True Light as True Light might be slightly less emphasized on English element. But I never worried about the English standard of a Band 1 school.

same as mine, I had already signed to reject the offer from Ming Wai Int'l class and submitted the reply slip to school today. Honestly speaking, I prefer the school have big campus and the primary school back up. Ming Wai's campus is so small but only teach with a higher level of language.

i think the banding of the two secondary are not the same!

yes.  True Light at around 60 sth and St. Clare's at around 80 .... both rank at band 1B.  I think banding is just for reference.  Every year is different.  Especially after launching the new 334 scheme this year, no one knows the first year results yet.  So, pick the kindergarten you like more. Good luck.

yes for true light, but the % of true light primary to seconadry is quite good, ranges from 60 to 80 %

其實比較過校網, 以女孩子及升中選擇作考慮因素來說,校網12有較多實力平均的好學校，如聖保祿天主教小學、瑪利曼小學、嘉諾撒聖方濟各學校等女校, 所以真光給予的空間也不錯呢!

hi, 我個女都係讀緊北角明慧國際班, 嚟緊會讀真光K1呀, 不過係pm班, 等緊睇下會唔會轉到am, 唔知我地個小朋友會唔會係明慧同班同學仔呢?

明慧地方細, 真不希望小朋友4年都在這地方返學, 無地方玩, 佢係教得深, 好處係有聽多D英普的機會,不過, 班D同學都係Chinese,都一樣少用eng/pth oral交流.....所以,唔洗唸, 如果重英文就ST Clare la, 重中文就TL....
起碼ST Clare, TL學校都似一個校園多D.....
