St Paul Co-ed 2nd Interview

According to last year, 2nd in call will start right after the end of 1st in.  This year, 1st in ended yesterday, so will 2nd in call start today?

Anyone got good news?

I heard last year's second int calls only started around Oct 27/28.

To be accurate, one has to consider that, out of the total 140 Primary One places for 2012-13, about 98 places will go to related applicants, leaving about 42 places to unrelated applicants.

If there is 600 related applicants and 2,000 unrelated applicants, then the acceptance ratio for the unrelated applicants becomes 2,000/42.

In this scenario, for every 47 unrelated applicants, only one person will be successful.

My son studied P1 at this school this year , but not from these two kinders.  Don't worry, chance is always there.  Add Oil !!!

我囝囝是在沒有關係組別(第四組)，而又不是讀這兩間名幼稚園(只是讀很普通而又不出名的小幼稚園)，現在也是在此校讀小一，所以不要因為冇關係或非名幼稚園而棄餒，機會永遠都是只會留給有準備的人！努力吧！

joechengck and 1280, from your experiences, what's the selection criteria of kids? I think the 1st interview is quite standard and simple.

1.  reading habit
2. good memory
3. good observation
4. quick and logical thinking

For 2nd interview :
Last year, my son just sit aside and read books.  Mrs. Lee focused on the parents.  She asked some questions and then talked about the curriculum of the school, Eng, Chi, Maths, Science ..................

But as I heard from my friend (her elder son studied at P3), last year there were quite a lot of related applicants failed to have 2nd interview !
