咁你知唔知今年有幾多個位for 1st round except 必收生.

I thought it was because the headmistress left Heep Yan in this year lah. Most of parents worried about the mission might change. And also worried about their girls' future ma. You know, the headmistress went to Ying Wah Boys' Primary School. The focus of couse go there lah.

有無人可以話我知，新校長如何?有無什麽改動?

I heard that the new headmistress want to focus on the inter-school award. She told the teachers that the parents will follow the academic aspect of the pupils by their own.

In my own opinion, the old headmistress is not bad but too focus on playing and school promotion by broadcasting etc.  The students of course very happy to play so much, but less effort on academic achievement.  It is really no sharp points for both ends of a knife.

From my own feeling after attending a talk from the new headmistress, I feel she put back some emphaise in academic result, e.g. to apply 拔尖in P.4, but not talking too much about 補底, maybe she did not want parents to think that she is going to do classicification in the school.  Actually I am quite happy to see this since students are really with very different standard, it is good for both parties indeed.

But, actually, my daughter seems less and less homeworks, even dictations, on average, only 2 times in Eng. and 2 times in Chinese per month.  Strange enough??!!

I am really not agree with this statement.  I think that the vital factor for a popular primary school is her famous secondary school.  Like 男小拔, also too many people to apply after the change of headmaster this year!!
