As I know (fm the ones in the parent-school committee), the school will keep the colourful uniforms, at the same time, add in some traditional-styled uniforms for 'special' occasions.
I totally agree to change the existing vendor - Victoria. With my experience in garment, all the textile quality, cutting, zipper etc need improvement. When I talked with the sales ladies of Victoria, they agreed with me but said they could do nothing (for cost purpose).
I believe Pegasus was the pioneer to introduce 'colourful' uniform, which showed a symbol of 'breakthrough'. To me, adopting a two-version uniform policy is also a gesture to embrace difference. Students may learn what to dress for different purposes (they should hv some awareness of this). As far as the children feel happy and confident with the uniforms on their bodies , I will support any change. |
