It is almost the end of the month and I still hear nothing from ICS kinder, worrying of no interview chance!

I called to check earlier to ensure the school had updated my new home address.  Then, I enquired about the admission procedures.  The school advised that the interview will be scheduled in mid-Feb.  Letters will be sent out next week.

Bette to call & years ago, I was in the same situation.  I called and learnt about my daughter application on waiting list, it was 70+ and later on I kept calling & had an interview etc.  Not sure if it is still work as the Kinder principal changed.

Finished the interview two weeks ago?

A mami(she called the school yesterday) told me that the staff said they are now still choosing the right cadidates for interview!  

Your kid must be the first category!

I do not mention my kid's name in any occaison but I did mention 'my daughter' & let you know that it was an experience, that it.   Not for any purpose or any purpose you have thought of?

rayzhao, are you referring to kindergarten or its pre-grade 1 interview?  For kindergarten, the interview letters should be sent after LNY according to their staff while if it is for pre-grade 1, are your kid studying R2?  See if any kids who are not studying R2 there have received result re: Pre-grade 1 application.

Yes you are right. My son is applying pre grade 1. And the kindergarten will be later cause our daughter is also waiting for the interview.

we called the school on Mon and were told that our daughter's interview is on mid Feb too!

Does anyone ask the staff how long we need to wait for the result?

My son's interview is scheduled for next Monday (14.2).  I was told it's a group interview, perhaps something like the circle time.  Parents may stay for a while though they are encouraged to leave once the kids are ready.  The interview will take around 30 - 40 mins.

My daughter is not so attentive. I guess the chance is very slim.

We withdrew our application finally, coz' we found out shortly before the interview that the school bus service doesn't really serve our district for such a little kid.  We may apply again for Pre-grade 1.

Just received an-email that ICS offered a place for my girl!  I'm supper happy coz I'm choosing between KCIS and Kingston and need to pay ten thousand deposit to KCIS by tomorrow.

I feel so lucky that my girl get a place.
There are only two classes I guess the chance of being classmate is very high!

You seems quite familiar with ICS kinder's situation. Do you know how many kids in a class? The new kinder principle looks  experienced and quite nice to the parents. It is the first time we met her during interview.

Not really actually!

I heard that they will accept 60 kids. Two classes in the morning and two in the afternoon, so I GUESS there should be 20 each class!

you've met the new principle? I didn't have this chance in the interview.

What's the name of the new principle?
