KENVILLE waiting list - no hope!!!

Called the school yesterday. They said by Mar/Apr 2011 they will ask for the school and misc fee. By then some more candidates will drop out. So they would only call the waiting list at that time.
School also told me that waiting list is longer than 600 people, among 4000 applications they received this year.
SO LONG - no hope la!

你以為600好長咩? 呢d人咪又係嗰批 有SC/龍校 offer嘅人! 何況.. 你點知自已waiting 排第幾呀? 做乜咁快就打沉咗架?!
btw, 寄咗求位信未呀?

Don't give up.  I have friends who got enrolment later.  However, do send letter(s) to follow up.

如果真係鍾意學校, 寫信試下, 到3/4月可能真係有位架.

想請教各位係咪個個月都要求位信呢?

冇話要唔要，我聽過有人會(但不是KV)，但就算冇個個月求位的都一樣最後收左…
舊年有媽咪去到8月都仲收到後補有位通知，(有d媽咪唔到最後都唔拿定主意…)，所以大家唔好咁快咁灰！你唔介意，9月都仲有機會！

其實我又覺得平常心啦, 一定要有其他學校學位係手囉, 唔好指意佢囉, 雖然間間學校都真係年年都一定有 WAITING LIST 最後入到.  不過諗下, 報名既有幾千人, 收 600 個小朋友, 我當一半唔接 OFFER, 有300 個位出番黎, 真係個比例都唔係多架咋, 所以真係唔可以有太大希望, 或者指意晒佢.  不過可以做既野, 媽咪們又不妨可以試下, 無壞 ~

request lettter was already sent the first day after receiving the letter. but you never know whether it work or not1! the only thing is that you feel you have already done sth to ask for a seat.
and if many mommies  do the same then it became a standard practice and makes no difference at all!!!

No worries GAT, no matter how low the chance it seems there is still a chance.  Don't give up!  Wait till next Mar and in the meantime still look at the other possibilities (most one dragon offers are not out yet so there are a lot of parents will give up their KV place by then) Our KV application was rejected so I did not even send a letter because that will be useless I guess..

過往係有人x'mas前後收到kv call waiting有位,
朋友同bk都有人講過, 不過我相信數目好少,
因為交留位費時同級只有sc出左result,
第1批wait到一定係waiting list最top位置!
到4月所有名一條龍有result, 應該有唔少位會放出,

應同，我覺得都係嗰批人(包括我自己)
我亞妹個女都係waiting收佢，不過最終佢都無讀KV，唔使咁早灰心喎﹗
