I don't see that my child and their friends' grammar is not good, they read lots of books and write naturally. Not perfect, some grammatical mistakes though, but they can write with a variety of vocab and interesting content, their writing strategies are good too!

Their subjects are teached in English except Chinese. Their english should be good. Why ? The students should speak english during the lessons ??
Agree! Does any WKF parents know how many % of the WKF secondary school students are in band 1? I am not sure the teaching quality of their secondary school.
Can weiwei tell us which graders are poor at grammar, or cannot use conjunction to write a passage? I have heard about these comments since my kid was in kindergarten. But my second grader and her classmates can write good journals.
I think if you are talking about P1 or P2, that is true but that is normal too. My kid studied in USA before. I feel that WKF uses the same method. Teachers will not force kids to write or memorize tenses, but only encourage and arouse their interest in writing and reading. Kids will learn from books gradually and naturally. This is "Montessori Education". US kids use English all the time so they can pick up easily. For some HK kids it may be a bit difficult.
Generally, WKF is very good. Their English curriculum is not easy and they emphasize a complete study in phonics. I believe that after some years, most students should be very strong in English.
