The incident was told by an Island School student who was in the same year with those two students. Reporting to police or not completely depends on the school decision as it might affect the school's reputation, but both of them got expelled from the school.
Even for local schools, there are students who have had sex experience already, how often do you see this kind of news in news report?
If you are considering ESF schools, I would suggest you to apply for WIS or SIS, which are better in academic capability. But if you have decided to put your kid into international schools, I would suggest you not to worry about the drinking problem at least. Because the majority of students studying in international schools drink, or have at least drunk before, there is just no way you can worry about. (<--and here I'm talking about ALL schools, not just ESF schools)
It may not be common in year 7-10, but it becomes more and more common moving up grades. |
