Got offer from York AM session today! so happy cos my daughter is a super small Baby, born on end of Dec 07!

Congraulations!  My BB also interviewed on Nov 14 but not yet received letter - he is also a super small BB born at the end of Dec...did your BB perform well during the interview?  My BB didn't performed very good so I am very nervous now...

except speaking, she did all when teacher asked her to do. I'm surprised that they can accept my girl.

yes, I've applied 10 KG, but have not yet receive others, I got rejected from Stafford, but finally got offer from York; I will wait for St. catherine and Kentville result then decide to let my daughter to go to York or not.

after seeing you post, i just rushed downstairs to check our mail box, and got the offer letter for AM class from York too.
My son is also a small b!

我兒子也是11/14面試,是12月底出生,今天也是有收到York的上午班錄取通知.當天弟弟是用普通話+英文面試,老師問的都會答,但是我想York很多人報名,加上弟弟又是小B仔,本來不抱任何希望,現在看來好像是只要有去面試就都會錄取??!!因為不清楚學校的錄取標準,所以這樣的結果到底是好事還是壞事呢??有認識的媽媽他們的兒子是大B仔,10月底就已經去面試,也是有收到錄取通知,但是學校要求繳留位費的時候要家長畫一張全家福的圖給學校,最後他們是選擇不去繳留位費.

問過學校, 收2000多份application, 收300人, 點可能人人都收呢 ?

有時, 我見到d家長, 話york肯比錢就收, 有家長會覺得如自己小朋友去in, 又收到reject letter, 咁代表我冇錢吖, 定係代表乜自己小朋友連人人都入到嘅情況下都入唔到呢 ? 收reject letter嘅家長, 就打死都唔會上黎講唔收啦....

但係york又好得意，一路收一路in。但大仔就in先，當然交留位費deadline亦都早d啦。其實都係變相細仔少左機會，因為係睇有幾多大仔唔讀至留返d位俾我地既細仔。

如果有得揀, 我寧願in後好過in早, 小朋友差1個月已經差好遠, 特別係細b, 如早in, or mix埋大b一齊in, 分別好大的。

I haven't go back home to check my mailbox today but just received a call from York asking me to draw a picture with the theme of family - they said it is used to assess the child from all round aspects....I thought my child was put under waiting list that's why they have such request....but now knowing that even you got offer letter you still need to draw the picture?  very strange...

We're studying in TT Nursery on Jan 2010 too, we're not attending their playgroup, it's a good school, teachers are nice are care!

for York, I'll pay the admissio fees first.

york 唔係用"心理學"去分析圖像吓ma?

They said the parents can draw together with the child and then submit the picture on a particular date to school wor...I didn't asked them whether they put my child in waiting or what but will check the mailbox when I go back home today.

I also don't understand how they can assess from the picture...

呢個做法又幾新wor....    但畫一幅畫唔係咁易啦, 要有誠意之餘又要有技巧, 可能有d家長嫌麻煩費事畫...york成日都話要睇家長誠意, 我記得上次聽talk, 校長話如連talk都唔黎聽, 即係唔係太在意啦...之類...
