If I were you, I would call the schools immediately showing your intention and ask what you can do next.U have nothing to lose to call the school and clarify the situation.
I guess they will be expanding (more classes?) after moving to Hillside (coz they said will accept new K1 & K2 students commencing Jan 2010 on first come first serve basis).
If that is the case, NEW K1 students will be eligible for priority in P1 interview in Jan 2011 (they will be there for 2 terms before the P1 interview to be held in Jan 2011).
(Note : I've no insider information about that : such prediction is simply made after reading the website and FAQ there).

thx, in fact i've writen an email to them immediately, and they returned an email to me this morning and saying that my daughter does not need to reapply and will be consider to stubbs rd intake, they will contact me if her application is successful. so, now what i can do is to wait again. hope i can get a seat!

i have filled out the reply slip on 31jul, which asked me about the start date of school, the choices are start in Aug2009 at SW or in Jan2010 at Hillside. as they said the deadline will be on 14Aug, so i'm still waiting. i called and they said they will send us email if any change. i'm really anxious too, hopefully we can all get in.

btw, anymore children waitlisted? let's share!! good luck to all of us!!

My husband just called yesterday, the staff told my husband that the vacancies may not place by first come first serve due to they got too much application for Hillside.

Hope we can receive the good news....!

hi, are u applying hillside Jan2010 for K1? or Sep2010? did u waitlisted before they announced the move? did u fill in any reply slip from them? but according to their website, they said the vancancies will be placed by first come first serve basis, now they change their mind?

anyway, i think for us, still few days to go for the news..... good luck!!

did u recieve any news yet?! i'm lucky enough to receive their call today and had a offer in pm session which i needed. hope u had the offer already or very soon too!

Hi there! You mentioned somewhere in the forum you 're struggling between ESF K1 and St.Teresa in Stanley. Now you're given an afternoon place in ESF K1. What's your decision there?

thx! charlotte will start school next tuesday in ESF SW! it's really quite rush, but i'm still very happy about this!

hi, if i target on ESF P1, that's no way that I reject offer from ESF, even it is far away from my home. anyway, as long as it is PM session, it will be ok for me to take her to school. If Am session, that will be a big problem for me.

We are also lucky mummy.... My girl also got the offer for PM class, but my girl will attend the class on next Mon, Wed and Fri at week 1.

I went to buy uniform this evening.

Did you need school bus service??? I call Kwung Chung today, they replied they will email me around weekend for bus stop location.... so rush....

contratulations to u too!! when did they inform u? i was informed by them only yesterday morning, may be it is because i'm the last one who apply for the school (jun09), i do think i am really lucky!! i bought the uniform this afternoon, and fax the application form to kwun chung also in the afternoon, but they did not call me back yet. do u know which class will ur girl in? i don't know yet! but anyway our girls can surely meet in future, 'cos they may play together during open play times. my name is Michelle and my daughter is Charlotte, nice to meet u and let's keep in touch!

I think your girl's surename is Lee??? how I ask this question, because when I went to pick up the contract yesterday, Sue asked me "your girl is Lee or Li???" so that I knew another Charlotte got the waitlist place....
I don't know which group my girl will located to, just know that she is K1pm....

I received their call on Monday and my daughter is in am session panda class.
I already paid 2 months deposit to KCIS and its non-refundable....

ooap.... I also paid te deposit for KCIS....... but if we target to put our childs to ESF, and we are not at cat 1, ESF kindergarten should be the best way for them.... such deposit

haha! nice to meet u too Manda!! and also knew that there is another candidate called Charlotte Li, because last time when i call to check if they had received my fax, they asked me if my girl is Li or Lee.

Charlotte Li and Lee are going to be schoolmates or even classmates in the same session, i think they might confuse themselves when teachers call them!! funny!

in that case, i'm the luckiest of all, i only waste $4300 in total for St Clare's deposit, Sacred Heart's deposit & books fees & school uniform fees and St Teresa's deposit!
