讀公文式好嗎?

我個女k2已經開始, honestly, 有優點也有缺點.  

優點:
1. 能自動自覺做功課
2. 打好個底
3. 不是太抗拒做功課

缺點:
1. 太沉悶, 特別是起步時會較能力淺.  但目的是加強小朋友自信心.
2. 如指定時間未完成, 或錯過一條, 就未能升班, 又要重覆巧課.
3. 放學時間唔定, 如果不是住得近, 要在學校門口等. 有時等成45分鐘.

很難講得太詳盡. 你可等他們有時會有免費班試堂.

我對twin讀緊公文英文(約三個月)，如果你的孩子坐不定又或比較怕英文，我覺得效果唔錯‧但公文數真的有d悶‧

Hi nelsonwong222,

我囡囡都是讀緊公文英文，也是6歲，由上年10月開始，而家學緊phonics部份，我覺得要視乎你的孩子是否適合讀，因為有時都幾悶 ，要重覆又重覆加深小朋友的記憶，但可以訓練小朋友恆心及持久的學習英文，我囡每天都學併生字，就算唔係做公交英文時也會用併音方法去嘗試讀其他練習的生字，我覺得禁樣都唔錯 ，因為這是自學的動力。

公文數應該幾好, 仔仔以前都有報讀過, 佢哋會俾習作仔仔做, 要計時既, 可以操到佢時間既控制, 同埋俾佢快啲諗到個答案, 公文啲數係好過公文既其他嘅.

I DON'T AGREE.每科各有長處,反而覺得數學可自行操數,多做練習即可

只係幫佢適應"填鴨式教育" <---BINGO! 我就係因為有呢個心態先畀個女學公文,過程係好辛苦+悶,但"填鴨式教育"就係要具備呢種刻苦既能力,我做亞媽既唯有係身邊支持佢,話佢知讀書係要一分耕耘一分收穫(公文可能唔成負出同收穫比例),我只係唔想自己小朋友做一隻暖水青蛙,現實中好多野都係捱出黎啦!

agreed that kumon is a bit boring cos it's sometimes too repetitive from my angle. But I don't agree it is 填鴨式教育. My kid is studying English and Math.  He started Math since K1, but Eng just 1 year ago.  I find Eng quite good (ERP)! He really learned a lot of vocabs and phonics. This helps his reading skills a lot.  I believe langauges could only be learnt from repetitive practice, practice and practice, no shortcut...

Kumon is not tutor classes. It's a self learning programme. They not have teachers to teach kids or help them the school homework.

How's the kids to learn phonic by themselves, do they really no teachers to teach them?

in Kumon, they have CDs, and the home work would be specially designed on phonics section.  they could learn it naturally after doing the homework and listening to the CDs.  My kid is a typical example, he really learnt it by himself through doing Kumon homework.  but as parents, you have to be patient to help them sometimes, e.g. when you read them stories, and encounter some words with several syllabals, try to teach them the technic of splitting the words into separate pieces and try pronouncing it separately to form a word.

絕對是一個填鴨式教育,但對於我個女(5歲半)來說,是一個非常好的學習方法,她是一個坐唔定,唔專心,只顧看電視,玩玩具過一日的小朋友,唯有用塞得就塞的方法,將基本知識塞入佢個腦,我不是期望佢讀書叻,只是作最基本,用來打底,唔駛小學到大家都咁辛苦.佢學了公文數學及英文,我覺得效果幾好,英文好多生字都識串.

我支持你嘅講法  .另公民式始終跟個人能力而上,不等同學校形式[公民隨自己的能力升班] 吸收能力慢的也可慢慢來,相反快的可升班來挑戰自己 .不過每人有別,切記不要比較,否則小朋友,家長都難受了

Kuman is quite good for me. My son has learnt for almost two years. He is learning all three subjects and always proud of his level in learning.

我個仔而家六歲, 都讀咗公文式差唔多九個月, 我初初都覺得幾沉悶架, 不過讀耐一段時間同升咗課程之後, 又發覺原來會喺不知不覺中幫到個小朋友架, 尤其是係佢越細個開始讀, 個進步就越明顯, 個程度快過學校好多, 所以我覺得都幾好呀!!
