I think it is better for you to thinkwhich country you want your son to go to continue his studies. For England, the education system is like what HK had before the 334.
But if it is US or Canada, it is a bit different. In US's or Canadian schools, if a student has excellent results in any subject, he/she can jump the grade for that particular subject. That is the good part of the educatin system. Besides, the high school students (grade 9 to 12) in the US or Canada can enroll in AP coursesif they are capable. AP courses are courses equivalent to Year 1 courses in University but you take them when you are still in high school.
If a student is smart enough, he/she can take AP courses when they are still in high school.
I personally likethe US/Canada education system more.
