Severn Hill and Churchill's just had their new Housemaster appointments somewhere in the period 2019-21. This might impact what my perception of the houses are as Housemasters tend to influence what the houses are good at.

As for School House, this year (2021/22) is the current Housemaster's 4th year, and a usual Housemaster contract is 5 years. From my observations I don't see an internal candidate of School House (i.e., a house staff already in School House) capable of replacing him. I am guessing it would have to be an external candidate which, as always, commands much less confidence than an internal one. When the previous Housemaster of School House had his contract expiration, external candidates were interviewed by the House's Firm (the highest pupil body within the house comprising of Heads of House...etc) but were all rejected in favour of the current one, who is an internal candidate. This goes to show how protective School House is of its own people/staff, but worrying as for the upcoming Housemaster appointments.
