Last week The Spectator produced a fascinating table listing the various figures showing which schools achieved the most Oxbridge offers last year. Over the years, both Oxford and Cambridge have roughly doubled the proportion of pupils from state schools: it now stands at 60 per cent, up from 50 per cent in 2000. This is reflective of which schools get the best A-level results. Of the 100 schools listed, 48 were independent schools, 23 were grammar schools, 19 were sixth-form colleges, 7 were comprehensives or academies and 3 further education colleges.

其實無得答，因為唔存在入咗某間學校就一定入到top U嘅情況。排行榜/往績亦無意思，因為只反映剛過去嗰屆嘅學生成就。如果小朋友有能力，三間都幫到佢入top U，本身能力唔夠，無一間幫到佢。

我見oic係uni application support方面做得幾好 網站話有super curricular department幫學生build up portfolio concord clc呢d大校會唔會做得無咁好 如果有多d support會唔會增加入學嘅機率（當兩個學生都攞4a star portfolio靚d會增加競爭力）？
但係oic嘅網站無寫到學生嘅人數 考入oxbridge嘅實際人數亦唔清楚

CLC係最老牌女子寄宿學校之一，OIC/Concord未出世已經送緊學生入牛劍，點會further studies support唔夠另外嗰啲好？不過，佢哋唔係學店，唔使靠送學生入牛劍去鞏固自己地位同reputation。CLC唔單只幫學生入英國大學強，每年都送大量學生入美國或者其他國家嘅top U。

不過我嘅睇法都照係與其揀間可能高一兩個percentage point入牛劍比例嘅學校，不如揀間可以充分享受寄宿體驗嘅學校。否則去補習學校得啦，使乜去英國呢？

補充少少，報英國大學基本上只睇學術，唔睇extra curricular。牛劍出offer係based on PG同interview（部分學科有entrance test），唔係攞咗4A*再去叩門，所以唔存在兩個同樣4A*嘅學生要靠extra curricular（或者佢所謂嘅super curricular）去分别。就算牛劍臨場interview，以我嘅認知，問題都係圍繞學術，唔會問其他嘢。
反而報美國大學，呢啲Super curricular就比分數更重要，真係直接影響入top U機會。但係美國大學著重嘅係long term commitment同passion，唔係求其儲一年super curricular就等於有彈藥（無返三五七年嘅super curricular經驗都當你無）！啲有心嘅candidates，真係10歲已經開始準備。

至於OIC嗰啲所謂嘅Super curricular activities，你睇清楚就知其實係間間負責任嘅學校都會做嘅嘢。不過OIC將佢包裝到好似有個特別嘅programme，我認為係marketing手法嚟啫。對佢嚟講，做生意就梗係要包裝啦...

Y12修什麼科? 將3間學校過往5年相關科目成績做比較, 再看看G5的成功率有幾多, 如果學校有列出入讀大學什麼學科更好
