請問各位用家，維記的trilingual語文程度如何？會每天有英文及普通話堂嗎？這兩間學校你們會怎麼選擇？thanks!!

都是有名气的学校，但是类型很不同。要想清楚啊

我希望佢可以讀得開心，但又有一定英文程度，唔係好想佢要出去補language, 我寧願佢出去學其他野。所以我好想知道維記trilingual 的程度如何

At.Victoria, kids are given an English environment to learn through different activities.  Kids will not be taught to say e.g. "May I go to the toilet please?"  Other than Phonics, i don't think the N E T "teach" the child any English (spelling, grammar).  

The N ET talks to children as if they were 鬼仔鬼妹， using normal vocabularies and sentence structures.  This differs from traditional.schools where the teacher teaches children sentence by sentence what to say.

English is used as a medium to guide Children's learning.  And it is quite similar to international.schools.  


Victoria kids can understand English well and speak English reasonably well with native accent, even for those who have no English environment at home.

What parents need to do at home is to read to and with them at home using the books kids take home from school.  They are story books and not textbooks.  

Most kids start to bring home English readers as homework in K2.  These are for kids to read aloud to parents, with parents guidance.

If parents dont read with kids at home, your child will be conversational in English but completely illiterate.

On the contrary if parents read with kids regularly, their English could be really impressive.

If parents will not read with kids, Victoria is not the place to put your child.  Besides, Victoria in recent years gives a lot of homework.
