求教：18個月大，兩個offer，耀中 vs 西貢woodland

小女加拿大籍，現㱑半，有以下offer：


耀中可以一直上中學, 但好像英文水平不高， comment對此校一般。

西貢woodland較國際化， 理念與我們相近，但只去到k3。轉校麻煩。


有無寶貴意見可供參考? thanks！

我會揀woodland , 之後再apply 加拿大國際學校，因你女有加藉。

How much Chinese do you want your child to learn? Are you planning to stay in HK at least until the child's high school graduation, or are you planning to leave after primary?

CDNIS is not easy to get in so having Cdn passport is more like a pre-requisite than a priority nowadays. Better have more options. There are also quite a few good options at the Saigon Clearwater Bay Area including Hong Kong Academy and a few others. Continue with your research. If you want your child to have a good bi/tri-lingual foundation and if your family converse in English on a regular basis, then YCIS kindie+ primary is a pretty good option.

I don't plan on sending my kid back to Canada until high school or even university.  We speak mainly English at home because I'm a native speaker.  We are also looking at more options besides Canadian In't.  HK Academy is also one of our choices.  However, I've read very negative reviews on YCIS,  mostly about the Eng level and school atmosphere.  Also the distance of travel. That's y I'm reluctant.  Having grown up in Canada, I like woodland because its very similar to North American preschools, but my husband likes the idea that YCIS goes all the way up to high school in case other IS doesn't accept her.  If we decide to go with YCIS we would have to forfeit $3800 deposit on woodland too. I'm not sure how to decide. Scared she might not get any IS offers in the future if we pass this YCIS offer.

any comments on American int'l & Delia  ?
