可否放棄直資

因為得15分,自知第一round 機會渺少, 當初有一間直資收左之後, 為求保險, 註左冊, 放棄左自行派位, 而家有一家較心儀的私小收左, 會註冊並放棄直資, 如此, 可否通知教署並參加大抽獎呢?

Yes, but called to EDB and ask to talk to the office who is in charge of your area, to ensure what steps you need to do.

The key pt is you have to clear up the registration of that DSS school and get it cleared with EDB before Jan 19, 20, 2013..  It takes time for EDB to double confirm with the DSS.  So you should closely monitor the progress.

Jan 19, 20 are the days to apply for lucky draw.

我同你case 一模一樣.... 要父 / 母親身去 EDB
出世紙, 地址証明 正副本各一
仲有取消直資証明如信....

我就無帶取消信搞好耐...佢会打去直資作實....

講開又講, 都好興 .   I called the EDB officer responsible for my living area, she never mentioned about it 取消直資証明信,  she didn't even know (I guess she never had such experience) about what I should do to make sure things are cleared up so to join the lucky draw.   If she didn't know what exactly I have to do step by step, at least she could find it out and call me again.  I reminded her would you need to find out more and call me back, I didn't mind to wait.  I was really frustrated by her being "lazy" attitude. She just mentioned things that are so high-level (such as you must clear things up before lucky draw la, you are fully responsible to clear things up with the DSS school....)    Then I was really mad,
I said " Of course, I know this.  But what I am asking is how many days EDB need to further follow up and is there anything I need to sign at EDB.  Do you understand how serious it could affect a child if he is disqualified from lucky draw due to some procedures have not been monitored on progress which in fact could be avoided?  IT's a life time matter..  

So in short, "push them" to tell you in details, don't miss out single detail.

如你無信証明已放棄直資位會等耐d.... EDB 職員会打去學校問....好似我甘等左半小時直資都末call back EDB 職員.... 甘佢好好抄低我d info.... 話如你真的放左位就無問題.....吾係到時你交左抽獎又有直資位, 我地会 兩樣都取消哂

其實真係好多呢啲人，所以我先响度問吓大家先，而唔直接打去EDB問，跟本唔止EDB, 好多政府部門都係咁，唔好嬲，快快攪掂佢，祝小朋友抽到心儀學校，咁兜多個圈都值得

你好, 早前我問過有關於棄已注冊直資再去攪大抽奬一事, 間直資到而家都未俾取消証明信我, 我唸住星期一直接去教育局攪, 請問:
1)你話無取消信攪左好耐, 咁係咪都係即日攪掂呢? 因為下星期一仍是學校假期, 我驚學校無人聽電話;
2) 教育局係唔係灣仔胡忠大廈果度呢?
