Questions regarding choice of kindergarden

Please give me advice.....
My friend submitted application forms to various kindergardens when her son was only 9 day old. My bb daughter is only 4 months. I would like to know whether it is necessary to submit application forms now for my daughter. Please advise.
I wish that my daughter could, like me, get admission of prestigious or famous school. I am living in Tseung Kwan O. I do not mind sending my daughter to other areas to study. Would you kindly advise which kindergarden are good and with good reputation and with primary and seconday school.

most "prestigeous" or famous schools only accept application one year in advance. For 2012 bb, apply in 4Q of 2014. but if you meant your friends are applying playgroup, e.g. victoria, you really need to queue up from birth.

Yes, Vic is a good choice.  With luck, you may get into their playgroup when your child is 1.5 years old.  My waiting time was 12 months back then (2 years ago)
Suggest you also check out Tutor time, but please note that your child need to be able to speak fluent cantonese if you want to get into some of the famous local kindergartens.
