Art classes for 6 year old

I am looking for art classes for my son, he is 6 years old.  We tried a lot of "big names" centers.  In the end, we found out all the kids end up drawing the same types of drawings, or same kind of art works.  and the teachers actually do the work for the kids.

Are there any centers that teach kids art but let the kids create their own works?

My 6 year old is attending an art class at a Center in Mid-levels.  The teacher never do the work for him.  Instead she only explains the basic technique, and let him explore.  She gives each kid a sketch book, invite the kids to draw and write their idea throughout the week.  In each class, she will take pictures of the kids work and have them stick it into the sketch book.  So the sketch book is like my sin's art journal.  He has finished clay works and drawing works in the class already.  He loves it, also, the center use Jungle as the center theme, he enjoys 'walking around and exploring the Jungle' before and after classes.  You should have a look.

You may go to Painterland Studio in Causeway. Teacher encourages children to draw with their own thought. No copy from other drawings. They don't draw for the children but teach them how to see, to think, and to explore. Not only the hands, eyes and mind of the child can also be trained. You can find that every pictures have their own personality.

Thanks a lot.  Think I will check out the one in Mid-levels first, as it is closer to my home.  Crew, would you mind let me know the name of the center?   what you mentioned about the "Jungle area" sounds appealing to me too.  Being a working mom, it is hard to bring kids to the nature during weekends.  I am just tired out.  Would be good if they can be close to "nature" of some sort inside this concrete forest.

My son will start his first art class at Jungleroo this week.  I took him to Jungleroo the other day, he was fascinated by the whole jungle setting.  Will be seeing what he comes back with soon.  Thanks a lot for all the recommendations.
